Chapter 15: Atomic Changes

Tuesday, September 12th
"Do you think it is too short?" "Is the corset too much?" "Do these hair clips look nice?" "Should I wear platforms or flats?" "Are these pants too much?" Everyone asked themselves the question for their first day of school. The difference between this year and last year is that no one will go to Celestial. Everyone had different first days.

Friday, September 1st
Achill and Liam were back at their old school with Afu. Being the fiancé of Achill meant he could live in the same house, and go to the same school. Liam wore a similar outfit to last year; a graphic tee, a denim jacket without sleeves, and ripped skinny jeans. He shaved his hair over the summer, after his breakup. Achill wore a white-collared shirt with a tie and cargo pants. Afu wore a brown striped shirt with cargo pants. The two wore matching bracelets with an "A&A". Liam was sick of what his brother and future in-law put him through. He tried acting chill after the breakup, but he was a mess. After the funeral, their relationship was in ruins. They all were stuffed into a limo, driven by a secret service agent. Crime rates were rising around and it was safer for the agent to drive them.

Monday, September 4th
Because of pure coincidence, Kozue and Winnie ended up in the same school. The two used to be friends but drifted apart by the breakup. Kozue also cut their hair during the breakup, but not into a buzz cut. Kozue got a bixie cut and dyed their hair. Kozue wore a black skirt with leg warmers attached, a collared shirt with a waistcoat, and a beret. Winnie wore a band shirt with arm warmers, leggings, knee-high converse, and a choker. The two bumped into each other as their lockers were right next to each other. They glanced at each other, questioning why they looked so different. Kozue had blue hair, and Winnie had black hair with blond, chunky highlights. Winnie went from prim and proper to scenemo. Kozue looked like they were going through a mental breakdown. At lunch, Winnie sat with Ananka, not even knowing that she went to the same school. Ananka wore a furry leopard jacket, a white tube top, a denim skirt, leg warmers, and white loafers. "So, how was your summer?" Ananka questioned the princess. "Well, my father, isn't..." she sighed before continuing. "My father, he has... Wingalgia. Now, he's in a wheelchair, and has about 10 years left." Winnie told Ananka in a monotone voice. "Y'know, the tabloids, they've been wild lately." Ananka randomly stated. Ananka showed Winnie through her phone all the headlines. "Illegitimate Princess! Should She Be Stripped of Her Title?" "Outrageous Next Gen Royal Outfits!" "Possible Royal Wedding Months After Actor's Daughter's Death?" Winnie looked at her, mentioning, "An, I'm very aware of the tabloids, I see all the headlines." Ananka continued, "Winnie, we have to be taken seriously. We are RIDICULED by the media. But I know how to be taken seriously. There is a meeting for all 30 monarchs to talk about the Griffin bridge. We need to stop them fr- ""How about we bomb it?" Winnie whispered. "It's a deal." Ananka simply remarked."
