Chapter 8: How to Get Married in a Week?

Saturday, November 23rd
Step 1, Write The Guest List
Afu didn't have many people to bring. He never knew any of his extended family. The only people he invited were his mother, but she wanted to bring one of her sugar daddies. Denise had to bring all of her siblings. Denise had 30 siblings in total, 17 brothers and 13 sisters. Plus her parents, her parent's friends, and her friends. In total, Denise was bringing 79 people.

Step 2, Roles
Afu didn't know who would be his groomsmen until Achill said he would do it. Denise wanted the maid of honor to be Andrea. Andrea beamed and accepted the offer. The bridesmaids would be Hera and Kozue. Denise's youngest sister Deiondre would be the flower girl. Afu's mom decided to be the ring bearer since she wanted to hold the one-of-a-kind ten-carat diamond ring.

Step 3, The Venue and Date
Denise's parents decided she and Afu should get married at their mansion. Since this wedding had to be rushed, the date would be December 5th. Everyone got tired of planning so they decided to pick up again the next day.

Sunday, November 24th
Step 4, Clothes Shopping
Afu managed to find an old suit worn by his father. It was in decent condition. Achill would wear a suit he got from his father as well. Denise needed something new though. She looked through the bride's dresses. The mermaid dress was too out of date. The a-line didn't complement her body. The slip looked like lingerie. The tea-length was ugly. Andrea, Kozue, and Hera were getting tired of watching Denise eyeball the dresses. Denise stumbled upon a gold champagne ball gown. It made her look like a million bucks, so she bought it immediately. The bridesmaids all had to wear black. Denise told them to find a black outfit. Andrea got a high-waisted, puff-sleeved, a-line dress. Hera got a blazer dress. Kozue got a jumpsuit with flared bottoms.

Monday, November 25th
Step 5, The Bachelor and Bachelorette Party
The day was getting closer and closer. Denise's bachelorette party was going to be a boat ride across the entire creature world. Unluckily for Denise, Afu had the same idea. They spend their time on different boats though. Denise took Andrea, Ananka, Hera, and Kozue. The five spent the thirty minutes around Angel Metropolis. They played games too. The others tried to guess things about Denise, but they failed miserably. Everyone decided to watch the view and take photos. Afu managed to convince Liam and Copper to come with him. After an hour, him and Achill ran off to a more private area. The two came back drunk, and Achill was deflowered. Liam immediately knew what was up. Copper wasn't bothered, he painted the sea. Once Copper was done he took a photo and the canvas fell into the ocean. Unlike his unicorn father, Copper was human. Liam had to use his puny wings to find it. By that time, the canvas was soaked. By the time the boat ride ended, everyone was sick of the ocean.

Tuesday, November 26th
Step 6, Marriage License
Afu and Denise sat at the county clerk, waiting patiently. They held their driver's license, passport, and birth certificate tightly. Denise and Afu's moms were there as well, to be their witnesses and for legal permission. After an hour went by, it was finally their turn. Denise wanted to either keep her last name or hyphenate it. But, her parents told her she had to be Denise Aitonui. The signatures were signed by Denise, Afu, and the judge. After that, Denise and Afu were practically married.
