Chapter 7: Mama Mia? No, Mama Didi

Tuesday, November 1st
Denise and Afu both had hangovers. Denise's head throbbed in pain, but she still had class. Denise's first class was magic, and she could barely stay awake. Afu had never drunk that much before, and now he had diarrhea. The two felt pain the entire day, it was hell.

Tuesday, November 8th
Denise was a mess. She was cramping, dizzy, always had to pee, and was tired. She took this as a sign to stop drinking, but that didn't help. But nothing helped. Afu on the other hand was great. He and Achill were friends, to the dismay of Hera. They told Achill one day, "He... well Afu isn't that good of a person. Trust me on this one. I dated him in 8th grade and he was super toxic,". Achill did think Afu was nice though, like everyone he had his ups and downs. Well, he sure does.

Wednesday, November 20th
Denise had had enough, enough of everything and everyone. She went to the school nurse after school and sat in the chair. "What brings you here,"? The nurse asked. "I've been having cramps, dizziness, and have had to pee a lot for the last few days,". Denise fretted. "Have you been on your menstrual cycle,"? The nurse asks, and Denise said no. The nurse goes into the closet and hands Denise a pregnancy test. Denise realized that she could be pregnant, but she hoped it wasn't true. She was only 16, and so was Afu. "Go to the bathroom and read the instructions to a T,". Denise walked to the bathroom connected to the office. The instructions on the box were, "One, open the box. Two, take the test and urinate for 10 seconds on it. Three, wait 3-5 minutes for the lines to appear,". Denise followed the instructions to a . The 3-5 minutes felt like 3-5 hours. She sat for what felt like an hour waiting as the test sat on the sink. Then, two lines appeared, the one thing she didn't want. Denise went back and handed the test to the nurse.

Thursday, November 21st
Growing up, Denise had many siblings. Some of them died from the same thing. It was fairy dust. The drug was different from the human drug, phencyclidine, also known as fairy dust. This fairy dust would make you stronger, but also deteriorate your health. Denise drank and smoked because it made her feel better. Even if she knew what had happened to her siblings. All she had to do was get married at 18 and have tons of kids. So, to her dismay, she called her parents. She couldn't keep something this big a secret. There was a lot of yelling and screaming. They came to a few conclusions. Denise had to keep the baby and get married. She cried a lot that day.

Friday, November 22nd
Denise had to go to an actual doctor, and they confirmed she was pregnant. She had to tell Afu, so they could get married. She went to dorm one and knocked on the door. Liam opened it, looking confused. "Hi Denise, what are you doing here,"? "Do you know where Afu is,"? Liam looked more confused with every word she said. "He's right there,". He told her while pointing to the closed door. She walked over a knocked. The knocks got louder and louder. She decided to open the door, what's the worst thing that would happen? She opened it to her baby daddy sitting down with Achill kissing him. Her eyes went blank. She was glad they were clothed, but was so distraught and backed away. Afu made direct eye contact with her and she stood there, not moving. Afu whispered in Achill's ear before Afu gets up and walks over to her. "What do you want? I was about to, well you know,". With a disgusted look on her face from what Afu said, Denise told him, "You're gonna wanna sit down for this,". He sat down before she continued. "Remember Halloween? Well I've been feeling like absolute shit for like two weeks. I did the test and, I'm p-p-pre-pregnant,". Tears filled Denise's eyes, but she went on. "My parents told me that I have to live with my decision. So, I'm keeping the baby. But my parents also said I had to get married, to you,". Afu had no words. He was a 16-year-old with a drug dealer dad and a sugar baby mom. He ran a popular school tea page and had only a few friends. How could it be possible, that the first time he did anything sexual, it made a baby? And right before he was going to fool around with Achill. Liam came out of his room looking at the depressing scene. Denise was crying, Afu looked like he was about to cry, and his brother looked lost at everyone else. Liam didn't even know what to say, who would? Afu went back to Achill's room. He sat down as Achill put his hands around his neck. "Stop it Achill,". Achill removed his hands. Afu sighed and blurted out, "I got this girl pregnant and I have to get married to her,"! Achill looked at Afu disgustedly, before he started crying. The romantic mood was gone, only leaving everyone's broken hearts.
