"Who are you? And what are you doing here?" Dumbledore asked calmly but cautiously.

Harry looked at Luna, earning a nod from the blonde and then at Great Hall.

"It's great it worked." He said, smiling awkwardly, hands raising in surrender, "Please, we mean no harm."

Hushed whispers filled the Great Hall.

"Then why are you here ?" McGonagall asked

"Professor Dumbledore, please, could we have a moment alone," Hermione asked, looking at the old man. "We are willing to take veriteserum, but we don't mean any harm," She said.

Dumbledore pondered but nodded, "Professor McGonagall, if you will take care of our guests, then I could have a moment with these people."

Professor McGonagall wanted to speak but refrained from doing so.

"Albus, are you planning on telling us something, or are we here to waste our time." Said Orion Black, many nodding in confirmation.

"Lord Black, if you could wait for just a little more time, we will return to you with answers," Dumbledore said.

"If that is so Albus, then I would accompany you. I have some veriteserum with me," Moody grunted out in his usual grumpy mood.

"He has his eye and leg!" Ron was astonished, only to be smacked by Ginny.

"We have no problem with it," Neville said, glancing at Harry for confirmation, who nodded in return.

They entered the nearest chamber and gave their wands to Alastar, who growled, "So who is ready to take veriteserum."

"I will." Ginny volunteered, but Luna beat her by going first.

"Ginny, I will take it."

"So state your name, why and how you are here," Dumbledore asked after she took a few drops of veriteserum.

"I am Luna Lovegood, professor," she smiled kindly, "We time-travelled here- to change the mistakes the wizarding world made."

Dumbledore and Moody looked at each other, astonished at this. Hermione stepped forward and took a few drops before diving into the explanation.

"I know. It sounds absurd but we are really from the future. The second wizarding war cost many lives, not as many as the first wizarding war, but still many people lost their loved ones. Yes, the first wizarding war ended and, in a few years, the second one started. We need to change this, so we need your help and trust." She said finally taking a breath.

"Dangerous things happen when one meddles with the chain of time Miss―" said Dumbledore.

"Hermione Granger, sir."

Draco, who was silent till now, started to speak, "We know Professor, but don't worry, we have taken care of that."

"And how you did you do that young lad?" Moody asked, wand still out for protection.

"We have removed our timeline from the chain," Ginny replied bluntly.

"In simple words, we can say that our timeline had vanished from the chain of time, forcing another timeline to be born between past and future. And for preventing bloodshed in that timeline we would need to correct the major mistakes made in this timeline." The bushy-haired explained further.

Dumbledore looked lost in thought for some seconds then spoke up, "If you are speaking the truth, Miss Granger, then how are you planning to accomplish it?"

"You are trusting them, Albus?!" Moody asked, shocked.

"I don't see any reasons not to trust them Alastar, they have a point, you can't apparate inside Hogwarts, and some of these look distinctly like some students we knew."

"Professor, if you gather the people who have come and some students and staff on the 7th floor, we can manage the rest." Said, Harry.

"Which students and professors? Be specific!" Moody asked.

"Luna, you have the list right." Said Ron.

Luna nodded, searching for the piece of parchment in her odd shoulder bag, removing a piece of parchment.

"We could introduce ourselves at the same time," said Ginny.

Harry checked the time on his wristwatch, "Professor, can you please be quick, after 30 minutes the time around us will freeze as it's going to take days, so hurry up."

"Sure," Dumbledore said.
