𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 y/n didn't ask to check on eleven he just wanted to see how she was doing. i mean they were just kids dealing with shit they shouldn't have to at a young age.
hopper breathes in the last of his cigarette before flicking it out his hand and stomping it with his boot. he knocks on the door 3 times.
" eleven get the door! i'm busy !" he hears mike yells subtitly - like he's struggling with something.
eleven unlocks the door and looks up to see hopper. " hey kid."
eleven strangely stares at him before she steps to the side to let him in. hopper takes that a little to offence but doesn't say anything , he steps inside and walks into the living room sitting down on the flower couches.
eleven sits down in the chair next to Mr. Wheelers lazy chair , " why are you here? did you find y/n?" eleven scoots to the end of her seat tilting her head to lean more into what hopper has to say , her eyes sparkling with hope that she has for you being alive.
" nah kid. nope nothing yet. haven't heard anything but i just-" he clares his throat so he's not stuttering -" came here to check on you. see how you guys are holding up."
eleven is glaring at him , hopper moves back a little about to raise his hands in case she was about to throw something at her with her powers but she rolls her eyes and scoffs. " we're fine but are you sure you didn't find y/n? like how is she?" eleven knows hopper is hiding something by his nervous demeanor - plus the last 5 months he's been a lot more nervous and giddy to get home than normal - especially at his job and she knows that.
