𝘺/𝘯'𝘴 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 was ruined by another nightmare the same one she's been having for a while. Hopper is woken up to it almost everytime and comforts her but he's noticing it's taking its toll and keeping her up at night so he wants to do something to get her mind off of it.
the next day hopper calls off of work for a few hours and gets ready before waking her up and telling her to wear something for swimming . so she does and they head to this ' secret '.
" hopper seriously where are we going?" y/n asks getting anxious as they were heading farther into the woods but her mind mentally marks the way their going and how to get back.
" it's a surprise."
" you've said that 5 times already i really want to rip out someones tounge right now." y/n seeths glaring into hoppers back. hopper sorta of depandded before they arrived.
a creek with rushing water and trees swaying in the wind, birds flapping around the pond looking for food, the peaceful flow of the pond gleaming in the sun.
" holy shit! this is so cool!" y/n exclaims her eyes sparkling in the sun.
hopper chuckles letting her curse this one time. " and it's all yours from now on. no one knows about this place except us." hopper informs as he sists down in a chair he brong along.
" how did you find it"' y/n asks curious as she undresses and jumps into the water without letting hopper answer.
bubble flows out of her mouth as the rush felt amazing - she was floating on clouds of happiness. she sprouts up from the water and looks at her hopper for his answer now while geting some water out of her eyes and ears.
" well i was walking around looking for something in an investigation and fell upon it. " hopper explains taking out shades and getting comfortable so he could watch y/n play around in the water as protecteion of course but he wouldn't admit that.
" i love it. thanks dad." hoppers chest burst just as it squeezes as those words leaves her lips again. he felt a rush of happinees before he cleared his throat trying to play it cool but he already blew his cover.
