eleven gasps awake , looking around to see mike and dustin sleeping in the hostpital chairs. " mike."
she softly whispers , shaking his hand , he groans in annoyance before going back to sleep , " mike. mike!"
he shoots awake and looks at eleven. " eleven ! thank goodness your awake." mike hugs eleven with joy. eleven smiles fondly and hugs back her mind a little foggy.
she then remembers y/n , " where is she?"
mike looks down then into her eyes softly , " eleven."
his voice cracks and he looks away , the emotion on his face explains - her breaths hitches as she shakes her head in denial.
" no. it's a joke. she's fine - she's just fine and she's going to run in here and it's going to be a prank." her voice sobs looking into mike's eyes with a pleading look.
mike sits down on the bed and grabs eleven's hand. " eleven. when hopper and joyce looked for will they found will - no y/n. so it's possible that she-"
" no!"
eleven rips all the things strapped to her off and flings the iv monitor across the room - it hits the wall and breaks into hundred's of pieces. she stands up and runs out of the room.
" shit." mike mutters running after her.
" y/n! y/n! where are you!?"
she looks around searching for you - yelling out your name as joyce hold her in her arms - it took some struggling - she calmed down and started breathing normally and just broke down - the familar feeling of a metallic wet feeling running down her nose.
she's gone . she's really gone. she promised. she promised! friends don't break promises but i can't even be mad at her because i miss her .
