𝘈𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 walk off the bus you look up at the building knowing this is where she resides her time in. Walking into the building and getting past the front desk staff people you enter the elevator and walk to her door.

okay this is it. 

knocking on the door twice you shuffle to fix your clothing a little then start ahead waiting for her to answer the door - according to you she's hasn't left to go anywhere more 2 weeks , you guessed she had to stay low.

so when she opened the door you expected her to tell you to get lost and scram but when the door creaked open to see you she pulled you into a firm hug.

" hello Risa I've been expecting you." her soft voice rings out as you tear up and hug her back , her warm hug has all you wanted.

" i've been looking for you Mama..." you choke out your voice cracking as you try to pull yourself together to seem strong but your mother looks past your faced and pulls away to wipe the tears from the corners of your eyes.

" i know my child now come in , you must want to know the truth. " she admits leading you inside and locking the door behind her.

kind and gentle , she has a lovely home. smells like cinnamon and spices.

" how did you know I was coming."

the woman chuckles and points to her head, " you must forget that i have powers to. You are such a lovely and grown up girl now .. I can't believe I missed out on all those years but..." she walks into the kitchen and you follow after her not looking anywhere else but her back. " they wouldn't have let me back in - probably would've killed me when they figured out my whereabouts."

" i figured ..." you muttered as she open the fridge and pulls something out.

" let's sit so I can explain everything and for your troubles ... here's a soda don't know if you like them much-"

" no! i mean.. it's fine i'll take it." you mumble out embarrassed that you yelled out to her like that.

she smiles warmly gazing down at you then sits down and you sit too, after getting cozy and comfortable she begins to explain everything.

" I think my life was normal. I had partners and what not. One day the lab took me in for testing saying they'd pay my parents a hefty amount just to be able to run some tests on me for a few days then I'd be set free . They had to have a rare blood type and i'm the only one in the area they could find so I agreed. It was hell to say the least ... I hated it there but after the few days they promised they didn't let me go saying how i was born to be tested on - a lab rat. I don't really remember what happened but I do know I lashed out and -"

" i'm sorry but those weren't my memories?"

" what memories?"
