'Cause love is the fire
In your fireplace
And carefree are the snowflakes
That fall on your face
We walked into science class. People walked in and out, like fish darting from anything. Adam sat down in his chair and put his feet up on mine. I curled up on top of him, my head tucked under his chin. My friends sat behind us, talking about what we should do over the weekend. Me and Adam both played Temple Run 2, taking turns on my iPod. Until, she came in. Vicsnoreia.
"Can I steal him for a second?" She tugged on Adam's shirt.
I stopped my game and looked up. "Why?"
"It'll be just a second." She begged. "Please?"
I sighed and lifted myself off of him. He kissed my cheek and walked out the door, Victoria on his tail. I leaned to my now hushed friends.
"Which one of you is up for a mission?" I smiled.
"I am." Answered Kasia. "What is the mission, Sergeant?" She stood up, saluting.
I stood too. "Private, this is a very big mission. The biggest in your life time." I looked her right in the eyes. "I want you to follow Adam and Victoria, record what they are doing, and bring it back to me."
"Yes sir!" She turned and ran out the door. I slumped back into my chair
"You think she goin' to be alright?" Asked Sadie.
I sighed. "Only time would tell. Let's hope so."
5 minutes passed. Kasia, Adam, or Victoria didn't come back. 10 minutes. No one. The bell rang. Kasia ran back into the room.
"Private, give me a tib bit of what happened on the battle field." I demanded.
"Sir, I'm sorry, but you will have to wait till lunch." Kasia bowed , but smiled. "But, it's really good."
