Morpheus looked at me. He slowly stood up, placing a little bundle of joy into a crib. I couldn't restrain myself from crying. We did it, we did it. Tears of joy raced down my cheeks. A smile appeared on my lips when he came closer and kissed me.

He released and the first genuine smiles in a long time grew on our lips. I looked up at him, his blue eyes were already glued to mine.

"I almost lost you," Morpheus said, placing a kiss on my forehead.

"I saw an angel along with you," I said.

"My beloved, that was my sister, Death." He moved the hair off my face.

"How is the baby, is he alright?" I was completely freaked out.

A smile sneaked out the corner of his mouth.

"Say hello to our daughter."

I couldn't believe the words that came out of his mouth.

"Oh dear, look at her." He showed me the most perfect baby girl I have ever seen in my life.

"Isn't she adorable?" His blue eyes sparkled with happiness.

"Oh my god, dreams come true." I wanted to explode with happiness.

"Did you name her yet?" I did my best to move my arm and touch this precious little creature to be sure that this is not a dream and that I'm wide awake.

"No, not yet." Dream said shortly.

"What about Calliope? I dreamt about that name like I heard it or something." I looked at them, my daughter and the dreamest man I have ever met.

"No, no Calliope." He almost yelled at me.

I looked at his face when his grin changed at the mention of Calliope.

"I have heard about this name when I was stuck somewhere in between like I heard you talking or that beautiful sister of yours. Calliope sounds like the name of a goddess." I said.

He sat on the edge of the hospital bed and started talking: "Well, where to begin? Calliope is a goddess, she is a muse and also my ex-wife. We had a son Orpheus, but unfortunately, he passed away and she left, just like you did. She has been captured for over sixty years. She was the woman I loved, worshipped and she reminds me of you, but one thing that separates you from her is that you were willing to fight for us. So, if you think that is worthy of naming our daughter after her, be it."

I would be a liar if I would say that I wasn't a little jealous. I could imagine a goddess and him. But something deep down in my gut told me that our daughter was worthy of naming her after a muse. Maybe she would become our muse, a guide through life together. I didn't say anything for a moment, just enjoyed the view. As I deep sighed, I said it out loud: "Welcome, Calliope."

The look on his face changed. He was happy.

When doctors found out that I am awake and feeling better, the most important struggle just began, trying to walk again after the accident.

Audrey visited me several times, she felt sorry and guilty for the accident. It was just destiny.

"He hasn't left since you gave birth," Audrey whispered into my ear.

"I know, he is a dream." I giggled, saying it louder than he could hear.

When I finally came home, everything seemed different. I had a man of my dreams, a beautiful baby girl who gave me the reason to fight and live.

"You know that I will break all rules so you two can live with me. Dreaming isn't a place for mortals, but every kingdom needs a queen." Morpheus looked at me through his lashes while feeding our daughter with a bottle of milk.

I smiled, I couldn't believe what I just heard. He asked me to live with him, to be by his side.

"My answer is yes." He walked towards me, placing his soft lips on mine. I knotted my fingers in his messy hair and melted against his body. I would have fallen, had he not been there to hold me. It was like magic, the way his lips connected with mine.

The next moment, he was on one knee. Morpheus proposed.

I didn't even let him finish, "Yes, yes, yes I'll marry you."

It was the happiest day of my life. When everything was in order.

Six months later

"Lucienne, hurry up. We'll be late." I shouted from the room where I was getting ready for the big day.

My hair had thin plaited braids in an elaborate pattern, intertwined with tiny white flowers.

For this occasion, I chose something different. White especially after giving birth didn't suit me.

Everyone I loved was here. Death even surprised me by bringing my mom to this event.

The beautiful atrium doors opened wide and I appeared. My dress was so radiant. It was the center of attention while I walked down the carpeted aisle. Candles in small bowls were placed on the floor. After my entrance, came the ring bearer holding a black pillow in his claws.

Everyone turned their eyes as a way to greet me. I was not dressed in white, I wore a traditional hand-made folk costume-a gift from one of Dream's relatives.

After we got married, we went out the doors, hand, and hand, and everyone followed.

So many different faces I met, but behind everyone stood the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. Long dark brown hair covered her perfect face standing straight in a golden dress. I haven't met her yet. I walked carefully towards her in high heels, keeping part of the gown in my hands.

"Hello, I am pretty sure that we have not met. I am Elizabeth." I looked at her with a smile.

Suddenly, I felt my husband's presence. He stood behind me, placing his hand on my hip.

"Liz, that is Calliope." He said fast.

"I am so sorry if I interfered, I heard that you named your daughter after me." She looked at me, and my heart wanted to explode. As much as I claimed that I wasn't jealous but I lied to myself. The Goddess stood in front of me. Dream's ex-wife, mother of his late son.

"She is my muse," I said.

"And I wish for her to have a life like in the most beautiful dream and be inspired through her life," Calliope said, giving me some old wooden box as a gift.

"Thank you, it was a pleasure meeting you." I bowed a bit and walked to the other side.

"Little bit jealous, are we?" Morpheus said with a raised brow.

"Did I look that jealous?" I asked.

"Oh yes, you did." He was amused, almost bursting into a laugh.

As soon as we had the first dance it was a hint of the event's ending. After we left the hall, the guests began to go home.

I changed into a silk gown and walked barefoot on the beach. Followed by my handsome naked husband.
