Bonnie taps her pen, bored. There's a certain word to describe this shift but she dare not say it. That is bad juju. She looks out of the little office to see Tyler running the main desk. The she devil, Lexie, shuffles over. "I-I need help in-"
"I'm sorry, I wouldn't want you to fall in love with me so I can't." He sasses, not looking up from his file.
"Is she telling you all to be like this?" Lexie snaps and storms off. She's had enough and she's going to report it.
Bonnie rolls her eyes; she hasn't told anyone to do anything. Of course it got round the hospital about what happened but she didn't ask anyone to give her the cold shoulder. But these people are loyal.
Mark sets a coffee down on the desk. "Here. I got you a bear claw but I got hungry after surgery."
She giggles. "Oh you ass, I really want one now." She playfully pouts.
Mark smirks. "Maybe I'll get you one later... but then again I have back to back surgeries so I may get peckish again."
"You're so freaking mean." She throws a pen at him. Her pager beeps and she sees its Chief Webber. She takes a deep breath. "Oh boy."
"What's up?" Mark raises an eyebrow.
"Nothing. See you later?" She kisses his cheek; he watches her walk off, confused and frowning.
When Bonnie gets to his office, Richard is sat opposite Lexie Grey. She knew it before she even saw him. Taking a deep breath, she knocks the door and walks in. Webber looks over. "Nurse Teller, please come and take a seat. Are you aware of why you might be here?"
Bonnie nods once and sits in the seat beside Lexie's, on the edge of it. "Yes sir, I think I've got an inclin." She nods once, glancing at Lexie. She devil looks at the chief playing with her scrub ties.
"Now, Doctor Grey is wishing to put in a formal complaint-"
"I'm sorry, for what?" Bonnie scoffs, looking over. "What have you got to complain about? I'm the one who was cheated on and humiliated."
"Nurse Teller, bite your tongue. Doctor Grey, would you like to share what's been going on? And how it's made you feel." Richard says calmly, giving Bonnie a firm look and Lexie a softer one.
Lexie takes a deep breath - she looks constipated. "I've been called names, made fun of. I can't get the nurses to listen to me and trust me. I feel so small and-and stupid and I feel this is unjust." She whispers and swallows hard. "I believe Nurse Teller has orchestrated-"
"Objection." Bonnie crosses her arms.
Richard sighs. "This isn't a trial, Bonnie."
"Then why does it feel that way?" She challenges. "I came back from sick leave and I come back to find Doctor Grey making inappropriate approaches towards my partner and another doctor at this hospital. I was mad, yes, but I never acted on that anger - apart from some angry words. What other people do is not in control." She glares at the chief.
Richard glances at Lexie. "Right... I think this has been blown out of proportion. Doctor Grey, is what Nurse Teller stated true?"
Lexie looks like a deer caught in headlights. "No- I- the advances were mutual!" She shrieks. "Doctor Sloan made equal advances - everything he says is flirty!"
Richard sighs as he sits back - god damn it Sloan. "This is definitely a different situation to what was initially implied..." He sighs again and looks at Bonnie. "Nurse Teller, I apologise for the premises on which I called you here. It was misled."
"Are you letting her off!?" Lexie yells. "She's a bitch! He wanted me!"
"Doctor Grey! I think we need a discussion on appropriate work conduct and relations!" Webber yells. "Nurse Teller, if you'll excuse us." He glares at Lexie.
