My Wager

If I showed you what's inside my own heart,
Which feelings, since long, I stored there for you,
Would that move you to acknowledge my art;
And in your heart, would it form something true?

Or shall I ink my love on some paper?
So that you would read my heart's desire;
And risk yourself to accept my wager,
With me, to spend your life till retire.

Oh will this be my own fascination?
For as I see, you are so far away,
From me to fill my imagination,
Which in my mind, occupies everyday.

Now it's up to you to change my love's course.
Oh will my love be reject'd or endorse'd?
