"Niklaus. Our guests have arrived" Elijah called out, once he opened the door to see the Salvatore brothers. The three walked further into the house, and towards the dining area where they saw Klaus waiting for them.

"Damon. Stefan. Elijah tells me you seek an audience. Very bold. Let's discuss the terms of our agreement like civilized gentlemen, shall we?" The blonde smirked, raising a hand out towards the dinner table.

"It's better to indulge him" Elijah said, walking over to the table while the brothers slowly made their way over.

"I didn't, uh, come here to eat, Klaus. In fact i didn't want to come here at all, but i was told i had to. Because you would hear us out" Stefan stated, making Klaus let out a small amused chuckle.

"Well, we can sit and eat...or i can reach down your throats and pull out your insides. The choice is yours" Klaus threatened with a smirk, as he sat in his seat.

Damon looked to his younger brother nervously hoping he wouldn't say anything else stupid, and thankful Stefan didn't say another word and the two sat down at the table.

"You lost your appetite?" Klaus spoke up, looking to Stefan who hadn't touched his food.

"Eat. I thought we agreed that we would leave the grumpy Stefan at home" Damon said, giving his brother a look. Stefan cleared his throat and started digging into his foo, not before giving Klaus a sarcastic grin.

"That's the spirit. Isn't this nice? The four of us dining together. Such a treat. Is this what you had in mind when you pulled the dagger out?" The hybrid wondered.

"Well, i knew how he felt about you, so i figured the more, the merrier" The eldest Salvatore answered, winking at Elijah while eating his food.

"Elijah and I have had quarrels through the centuries, but we always make it through" Replied Klaus, as he looked to his brother then to Stefan who spoke up next.

"Kind of like, uh, you and Rebekah, right? Where is she by the way? Last i checked she was still daggered because you were afraid to face her" He said, taking a sip of his wine.

"If you're referring to the fact that Rebekah know I killed our mother...I've already come clean to Elijah" Klaus said, making Elijah give him an unreadable look.

"Hey, Stef, remember when you killed dad? Might wanna dial down the judgement till dessert" Damon said to his brother.

"We're here to make a deal, Damon. Doesn't mean we need to kiss his ass for seven courses" Stefan sighed.

"I'm just saying, we have a long evening ahead of us, pace yourself" Damon warned, as they all continued eating their food.

An hour had gone by, and the men had finished their meals.

"So why don't we discuss the terms of this proposal?" Elijah began the conversation.

"It's very simple. Klaus gets his coffin back. In exchange...he and the original extended family leave Mystic Falls forever. Me, Stefan and Elena live happily ever after. No grudges" Damon said, raising his glass before drinking the rest of his drink.

"The deal sounds fair, brother" Elijah agreed, wanting this whole ordeal over and done with so he can finally wake his siblings.

"I don't think you understand. Elena's doppelganger blood ensures that I will always have more hybrids to fight those that oppose me. I will never leave her behind" Klaus added assertively, then got up to stand near the fire place as he continued speaking.

"Say i do leave her here. Under your protection. What then? How long before one of you turns her into a vampire? Or worse, how long before she dies, caught between your feuding? You see...each one of you truly believes that you're the one that can protect her. And that is simply a delusion. Gentlemen....the worst thing for Elena Gilbert is....the two of you" He said, giving the brothers a taunting look, making their annoyance grow.

"I need to get some air" Damon finally spoke up, breaking the tension. Getting up from his seat, the Salvatore left the room.

"Let me deal with this" Elijah said, getting up from his seat and went in the direction Damon went, leaving Klaus and Stefan alone.

"All this talk has made me thirsty. What do you say, Stefan? Can interest you i a little after-dinner drink?" Klaus smirked, who quickly sank his teeth into the girl's neck while Stefan watched in discomfort.

Back in the dream world, Ingrid and Kai were talking a stroll through the woods. The two were holding hands, smiles evident on their faces as they spoke about random things.

"You know, I never thought I would ever be able to love let alone understand it. But ever since I started dreaming about you and then meeting you here, I'm finally starting to understand emotions" Kai said honestly. And he was telling the truth. While being hated and ridiculed by his family, his emotions barely existed. There was anger, but that was a given.

But when he started dreaming about Ingrid and her life, he started feeling this emotional pull towards her. He witnessed nearly everything she went through, especially her time as a human and it made him angry to see her suffer so badly.

After Kai had been sent to his prison world, he was welcomed with the sight of the very woman he had dreamt about for years. At first he thought he was going crazy, but she assured him that she was really there--well sort of. From then on, Kai enjoyed having her around and he soon found himself falling in love with her.

Of course the thought of loving someone terrified him, but Ingrid seemed to understand and gave him as much time as he needed to figure everything out. Now, the two already act like a married couple. They're happy and in love, and that's all they needed at that moment.

"I'm proud of you for that, Mal. I really am. You've changed so much over the past 16 years, and I'm just glad I got to be here for you" Ingrid smiled, giving the male a kiss on the cheek making him grin widely.

"Does our relationship count, seen as I'm here and you're desiccated in a box?" Kai suddenly asked, his face now looking serious. Ingrid couldn't help but smile, making the two stop walking and she placed a hand on his cheek.

"If i can eat, sleep and kiss you here, our relationship definitely counts" She winked at him, causing him to grin happily.

"So that means we've been together for 14 and a half years----do you think it would be too soon to get married" Kai wondered, tapping his chin in thought making Ingrid let out an amused snort.

"If we're to get married, you'll have to ask my brother's permission. Especially--" Ingrid started to say, but stopped when she felt a weird sensation in her chest. Kai seeing this, looking to her in worry.

"Sweetheart, what's wrong?" He asked, as he watched his mate place a hand on her chest with her brows furrowed.

"I-I think something is happening to me in the real world" She answered, looking at Kai with worry and slight fear. Ingrid felt like something was pulling her backwards, and she noticed that her body started fading.

"Oh no, someone must've un-daggered me. That means--" She cut herself off, feeling tears in her eyes looking at Kai, who mirrored her expression.

"That means you're leaving" Kai whispered sadly, feeling his heart drop at the thought of the only person he loves leaving him.

"Look, Mal i haven't got much time. I will get you out of here, okay. There is no way in hell that I'm leaving you here. And when I do get you out, you can meet my family and then you and i can travel the world together" Ingrid said, grasping the male's face in her hands looking into his teary blue eyes.

"I like the sound of that" Kai smiled, but it didn't reach his eyes. The man smashed his lips upon hers, the two basically holding onto each other tightly. The couple slowly pulled away, their heads rested against each other.

"I love you so much, Mal. Don't lose hope, and remember we'll be able to see each other in my dreams in the mean time" Ingrid spoke softly, grazing her fingers over his soft skin.

"I love you too, Sweetheart. I'll see you soon" Suddenly, Ingrid disappeared and Kai was left alone.

In the real world, Elijah had pulled the daggers out from his siblings and had gone back to the dining room. After about 10 minutes, Finn was the first to wake up. Getting out of the coffin, he saw four blood bags sitting on a table nearby.

Kol woke up not long after, and quickly down the blood bag for himself and grabbed one for his twin. The eldest twin walked over to his sister, and he waited anxiously for her to wake up.

"When did she get daggered?" Finn asked, as he stood next to Kol.

"I'm guessing not long after I did" He answered, not once taking his eyes off Ingrid. A gasp was heard, but not from the person he wanted to be awake. Instead it was Rebekah, who was now climbing out from her coffin.

"Well, I have a feeling either Elijah un-daggered us or Nik had a change of heart" Rebekah said, as she drank from the blood bag.

"Nik is a heartless monster, It had to have been Elijah" Finn scoffed. Kol went to make a remark, but stopped when he saw his twin's fingers twitch and her skin going back to it's normal pale colour.

"Come on, darling. Wake up" Kol whispered, bouncing his knee in anticipation. Soon, Ingrid's eyes snapped open making Kol stand up quickly with a large smile on his face.

Ingrid looked to the ceiling for a second, before she focused on the familiar face of her twin brother. The heretic's face quickly brightened, the same smile as Kol's appeared on hers. She went to hug him, but she stopped herself.

"Hey, remember you won't hurt me, okay. Now give your twin a hug" Kol grinned, and laughed as Ingrid leapt into his arms. The twins held onto each other like their life depended on it. Rebekah and Finn stood not too far from them, with happy smiles on their faces.

"I missed you so much, dimples" Kol muttered into her shoulder, not wanting to let her go.

"I missed you too, bear" Ingrid responded, feeling the tears run down her face. The two eventually pulled away, Ingrid now looking over to her younger sister.

"Bekah" The woman whispered, walking towards the blonde and smiled as she was embraced by her sister.

"Good to see you, sweet girl" Rebekah smiled brightly, placing a kiss on the side of Ingrid's head.

The youngest twin pulled away, and her smile seemed to widen at the sight of her older brother, Finn. The oldest Mikaelson pulled the woman into a tight hug, cupping the back of her head while Ingrid's arms tightened around his stomach.

"I missed you, Fi" Finn's smiled widened hearing her soft voice, and held his sister tighter.

"I missed you more, little one" He responded.

"Um, I object. As her twin and womb-mate, i missed her way more than you, Finny" Kol sassed, making Rebekah and Finn roll their eyes, as Ingrid giggled quietly.

God it was great to be back with her family. There was just one more person that she needed, and then everything will be complete.
