Not long after reuniting with her siblings, Elijah walked in to see his siblings awake. He let out a small grunt when a body collided with his, but he quickly realised who it was.

"It's good to see you too, sweetheart" Elijah chuckled, as the two pulled away and saw the smile that beamed on Ingrid's face. Everyone's heart warmed at the sight of her smile, having not seen it in decades.

"You four wait here until I say the word" Elijah said, looking to all his siblings who nodded. Ingrid bee-lined towards her twin, hooking her arm through his and rested her head on his shoulder. Ingrid was honestly so happy to be back with her siblings, especially her twin and she hoped that she never had to be away from them again. Unless Klaus daggers Kol again.

"Elijah? Why haven't you left?" Klaus questioned, seeing his brother, Damon and one of the girls who was holding a silver tray.

"Well, where are your manners, brother? We forgot dessert" The vampire answered, taking the cloth off showing two daggers laying on the tray.

"What have you done?" The hybrid asked, his eyes widened with fear.

"What have you done? See, I've learnt not to trust your vulgar promises, Klaus. We're doing this on my terms now" Elijah replied, just as the twins walked into the room. Klaus' eyes widened as he looked at an enraged Kol, while Ingrid stood near the doorway.

"Kol--" Klaus started to say, tears appearing in his eyes.

"Long time, brother" Kol glared, watching his older brother walk away from him with his hands raised. Klaus then went to grab one of the daggers, but stopped when he saw Finn in front of him with one of the daggers.

"Finn, don't--aah!" Klaus yelled, as the dagger was stabbed through his hand. He went to speed out of the room but was stopped by Rebekah, who had a smug smirk on her face.

"Rebekah" The blonde hybrid almost pleaded, but let out another yell when he was stabbed in the abdomen.

"This is for our mother" The girl sneered, and pushed him towards Kol, who pulled Klaus' arms behind him so he couldn't move. Finn grabbed the remaining dagger, and walked in front of the struggling hybrid.

"This one is for Ingrid. You always said that you cared for her, and yet you dagger her twin" Finn spat, and shoved the dagger right in the middle of Klaus' chest making him scream in pain.

Kol let go of Klaus, and went to get a drink for himself and Ingrid. Handing her her drink, the two moved over towards the fireplace, while the others stood in different parts of the room.

"I like what you've done with the new place, Nik" Rebekah said, grabbing a glass vase to which she threw at a painting. Ingrid flinched slightly, making Kol squeeze her hands softly calming her down.

"I wanted it to be for all of us. A place we could all call home. A place we could all be a family. None of us would ever have to be alone again" Klaus tried to reason, but none of his siblings were having any of it.

"Well, you're right. None of us will be" Elijah stated, as he walked past his brother. Finn wrapped his free arm around Ingrid, bringing her with him with Kol in tow.

"You're staying behind" He said, moving his baby sister closer to him making her rest her head on his shoulder.

"We're leaving you, Nik. Right after i kill that doppelganger wench. Then you will be alone. Always and forever" Rebekah added. Although Ingrid was upset at Klaus for daggering her siblings, she couldn't help but feel bad for him. She always hated seeing him upset, but what he did was wrong and he had to pay the consequences.

"If you run...I will hunt all of you down" Klaus threatened, causing Ingrid to frown.

"And then you'll become everything you hate. Our father" Elijah stated. Ingrid clenched her eyes shut at the mention of her monster of a father, remembering all the years of punishments as a child and being chased around the world with her family.

"I'm the hybrid! I can't be killed! I have nothing to fear from any of you" Klaus chuckled dryly, pointing at all of his siblings, but his eyes stopped on Ingrid for a second seeing slight fear in her eyes, making him feel guilty for shouting.

"You will when we have that coffin" Elijah mentioned, causing a flash of fear to appear in Klaus' eyes. The siblings remained silent, none of them saying a word and just stared at their hybrid brother. That was until the sound of the front door opening could be heard, making them all turn around.

Everyone's eyes widened, especially Ingrid's. There stood their mother, still dressed in a dress from the 10th century. Klaus trembled, as he watched his mother walk towards him and he looked to his feet not wanting to make eye contact. Kol moved over to his twin, wrapping an arm around her waist, while Finn left his arm around her shoulders holding her close.

"Mother" Rebekah breathed out.

"Look at me. Do you know why I'm here?" Esther asked, making Klaus face her as tears fell down his face.

"You're here to kill me" Klaus whispered.

"Niklaus, you are my son. And i am here to forgive you" The mother answered. Ingrid frowned at that, not believing a word that she said.

"I want us to be a family again" That was enough for Ingrid, as she handed Kol her glass and walked out of the room, heading straight upstairs. Kol quickly followed, knowing that his twin was upset, leaving the others to watch in sadness.

What they didn't see, was the knowing grin that was on Esther's face. And that their time together wouldn't be lasting long.
