Real You
Poem by Vince YlayaSearching for a place where I can charge,
Holding my mama's arm,
But then I found your undoubted charm,
We're good, there's no harm.I like you guys like you,
I always have a clue that boys like you break my heart in two,
And if that happens, I can't sue you.
But I still want to know you.Stupid me, crazy me,
Can't stop acting like a lost bee.
I promise you'll not stop loving me
if you see my true self.
I like you, and if you don't like me,
it's okay there's just something about you that I can see.Your brown eyes, all I can do is sigh,
Just watching the sky,
Trying not to get blind with your smile.
Shinier than a porcelain tile,
watching you from a mile.
Watching your back from a window blind,
I always think that you are kind.I don't even know your name,
and that's why I'm ashamed.
I want to know who are you,
So, introduce me to the real youI can only assume,
you're wearing a costume,
cause I can't see the real you,
not even a clue,
That is some kind of an unfortunate blue.Sometimes I hate you, for being cute,
Sometimes I hate you for being you,
with a little time watching you,
I think I have my version of who are you.
Don't worry I'm not a stalker,
I don't get to see you every day,
but I do wish to see your face when I wake up every day, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Why can't you introduce yourself to me,
Can't you see,
I'm trying to do my best for you to be able to see,
that I'm capable of being your honeybee.Let's arrange a honey tea party,
So that you can spill the tea,
I promise I won't be sassy,
I promise I won't be like Maddy,
You can tell the truth to me,
I promise I won't tell anybody.I promise you,
I want to get to know you,
So, give me a chance to be a Queen Bee to you.
