NOCTURNAL - THE GUY WHO SAVED ME
"Point your right foot and place the left one underneath. Yeah, that's it. Nice, Brooke. Now, gently hold your right leg. There. That's it. Gorgeous."
I lifted my head and then gently stared at the magnificent falls right in front of me. We're already here at the final location and I'm currently wearing the third and last outfit for the photoshoot— a white midriff top and a black underwear.
It took me a lot of courage to finally wear this pieces of clothing. It's embarrassing, not to mention Aiden keeps on staring at me the whole time I was striking a pose in front of the camera.
Before the final shoot started, I told Xylem to ask Aiden to go back home without us. I just couldn't take it if he's looking at me intently while I'm wearing this daring outfit. I'm not even wearing a bra for goodness sake! Good thing my boobs aren't that big.
I shivered when I felt the cold water running beneath my underwear. Masyadong malamig na nanginginig na ang buong katawan ko pero kailangan kong kumalma para matapos namin ang photo shoot.
"Brooke, stand up please. Lapit tayo sa may falls." Xylem ordered.
I nodded my head. Tumayo na ako at nilapitan sila. Sumakay kami sa maliit na bangka upang makarating doon. Aiden is not here with us as of the moment. He's staying in the cottage that we rented.
"Is it okay if you get wet?" She asked while scanning the photos on her camera.
"Yeah, sure." Kanina pa naman ako basa sa pang-ibabang bahagi ng katawan ko.
I went down carefully and the glistening water welcomes me. Goodness, I'm freezing already. My feet landed on the ground. With caution, I went near the end of the falls while the boat where Xylem is riding on, begins to follow me from behind.
"Brooke, tumayo ka sa dulo ng falls. Let the flowing water touch your face and body." Xylem suggested.
I nodded my head and did what I've been told. I closed my eyes and entered the falls. "That's it. Don't open your eyes yet. Hold your neck and place your other hand on the top of your stomach."
All I can hear is the camera clicking and the current of the waterfalls. I find it relaxing, in all honesty. I guess I should just go with the flow then. I slowly opened my eyes and grasped my hair with the use of my right hand while the other one is caressing my left cheek.
"Perfect! I love it, Brooke! Stunning!" Xylem commented.
I wanted to smile because of her compliment, but I need to remain fierce and calm.
Little by little, I became more comfortable with the outfit that I'm wearing and the piercing eyes coming from the particular cottage.
Jeez. Can you not stare at me like that? Just keep yourself busy with your phone and continue to act like a spoiled brat who seeks attention.
I sighed and changed position.
Xylem was saying something but the water coming from the falls is practically blocking my hearing.
I took a quick dip and swiftly stood straight. My hair keeps getting in the way and I badly wanna fix it.
"Beautiful!"
This photo shoot will serve as my experience when I get the chance to audition in a modeling agency in the near future. I have always wanted to join, but I'm too shy to even smile in front of the camera. It's not really my thing but my Auntie, who's also a photographer keeps on encouraging me to pursue modeling. Nahihikayat din naman ako kaso pinangungunahan lang talaga ng kaba.
