The teacher made his way down the corridor towards the classroom. He looked quite young, possibly only in his twenties, and had mousey brown hair in a messy style. As he stopped in front of the door, the entire class turned to face him, the noise dying down immediately.
"We're going outside today class," he announced, and told us to follow him. "I'm Professor Heron, but I don't want you to call me that, call me Sam instead, as I'm not much older than you."
Sam was wearing a pair of blue trousers, with a matching jacket, and black shoes. I caught quite a few girls staring at him as we walked, and their mouths dropping open.
When we got outside, we were at the lake, just on the shore. There was a small paved area, with benches and plants in pots lining it. We stopped, and Sam told us to stand and watch him, listening to the incantation he was about to say.
"Aqua Flexuram!"
Slowly, the water in the lake began to rise up, forming into a bubble, then splitting. It rained back into the lake, creating ripples that faded away.
"Did anyone hear the incantation that I used?" Sam asked the class, with many hands rising to impress him.
"Feonyx, can you tell me?"
I looked up, and told him.
"The incantation was Aqua Flexuram, and it made the water conform to your will."
Sam looked pleased at my answer, and asked us to try and use the incantation.
Splitting off into groups, we each tried to replicate what Sam achieved, with varying success. Rose managed to make the water ripple out into a heart shape, and then it was my turn.
"Aqua Flexuram," I murmured, waving my hand over the water. It rippled out, then rose up a couple of inches, splashing back down into the lake. There was a small splosh, and a final droplet fell, the water dipping, then leveling out.
"That was really good," Sam praised, telling me some other movements to try, then moved on, soon ending the lesson, and we were finished for the day.

I sat in the dorm reading a book. The room was silent, with Megan and Rose out in Threndal together. As I turned the page, my eyes scanned the diagram on the next. It was of a person, a Sorcerer, next to a pitch black dragon. The dragon had golden eyes, and gold markings like veins all over it. Small golden flecks were in the Sorcerer's eyes, and she had her hand out, radiating light shining over the dragon.
"The Void Sorcerer," I read out loud. "The most powerful Sorcerer alive. With the help of the Void Dragon, they can live for hundreds of years and can perform any incantation. As of now, there have been 3 known Void Sorcerers, all of which have attended Crescent High.
The Void Dragon is the companion of the Void Sorcerer, and is reincarnated as an egg each time a new Void Sorcerer is born. It retains its memories from its past lives and helps the Void Sorcerer to harness their colossal power."
Suddenly, I felt my eyes close and I drifted away into a dream.

I was in the black box again, alone and no exit in sight. The silver sword was in my hand once more, and I gripped it tightly as the golden light began to shine. In the middle formed the golden figure, who seemed even more corrupted and tainted.
"Little One, they are coming for you, run whilst you still can. You must keep your guard up, for everything is not how it seems. This world is in danger - it is up to you to save it," she spoke in a silvery voice, but sounded strained and tired. She held her arms out to me and took my hands.
"Do not worry, Little One, all will become clear, when you are ready. But, for now, heed my warning, and remember, not everyone is who they say they are." I could feel her drifting away, and soon, I was alone again in the darkness. It was like that for a few minutes until the dream faded.

"Feonyx," Rose called as she walked into the room. "You're going to miss dinner." She turned the corner and stopped abruptly. "What is that?" she asked slowly.
Looking down, I saw a round oval object in my lap. It was black, with golden streaks looking like the ones on the dragon. There were jewels adorning the object, and it was cold to the touch, but had heat radiating off of it.
"I don't know," I replied, thoughts swirling round my head. "But lets go to dinner, I'm starving."
Quickly, I put the object under my bed covers and followed Rose out of the room.

Noise filled the dining hall as students sat at the tables eating their dinner. Out of the corner of my eye, I caught Reef waving.
"We saved some seats for you," he shouted, beckoning us over. We made our way to the table and I sat down, uncapping my pen. In front of me appeared a plate of fish and chips, which I stabbed my fork into.
"So, how's your day been," Reef asked me.
"It's been fine, I have had a couple of weird dreams though. I learnt a ton today and Incantations was the best class. We learnt how to move water, let me show you."
I asked for a bowl of water and it appeared in front of me.
"Aqua Flexuram," I muttered, and waved my hand over it. Slowly, it started to create a mini whirlpool and I calmed it, levelling the water once more.
Finishing off my dinner, I chatted about our days, and made my way back up to the dorm, soon drifting off to sleep.

* Sorry about the wait, I've been away with no wi-fi, so I haven't been able to post. Also, I've been writing another story as well which is probably uploaded at the same time as this. I'm going back to school in the coming days, posts won't be as regular but I'll try to do every other week for this story. Hope you're enjoying it so far and thanks for reading. *
