To say Elaina was astonished that Klaus somehow really managed to convince Five to take the road trip, would be far too little.

But here the three of them were on the open road.

Klaus was the driver this time, slurping on his drink, as Five joined him in the front row as the passenger. Elaina was situated in the back row but was currently reaching over the front so she could channel-surf the radio of the hotel's town car.

"Such garbage..." she grumbled, twisting the dial and being careful not to shimmy her hips as she tried not to hit either Klaus or Five with her ass.

"As much as I'm enjoying the view, I think you should settle on a station, hon," candidly spoke Five with his arm wrapped around Elaina's hip as a makeshift seatbelt.

It was then that The Oogum Boogum Song by Brenton Wood started playing, making a smile cross the girl's face.

"About damn time!" she exclaimed, putting the volume up. "Sorry, there's no way one can do a road trip without the proper equipment. I.e. music," Elaina explained, pushing herself back into her seat with some assistance from Five.

Klaus put his cup down and started tapping the top of the steering wheel along with the song's beat. "Oooh yes, Oogum Boogum! Great choice,"

"Why thank you, my good sir," smirked Elaina, giving a half-assed bow from the backseat, earning a chuckle from her brother.

"You know, this actually isn't so terrible," commented Five, as he took in the sights of the open road along his love and brother.

Klaus excitedly smiled. "See? Told you,"

"Come to think of it, my whole life I've been under the gun," realized Five as he started to recall the formatting of his life so far. "Missions for Dad, working for the Commission, trying to survive the apocalypse. I was always looking around every corner, just waiting for the other shoe to drop," he stated, feeling Elaina wrap her arms around his neck from behind him, earning a tender smile from the boy as his hands reached up to stroke her arms lovingly. "It's nice to just breathe," he sighed contently, leaning into her.

"Good for you, man. Retirement is suiting you," praised Klaus with a gentle smile.

"Mhm," hummed Elaina, her mouth getting close to the boy's ear. "Very liberating," she purred lowly into it, smirking as she could see goosebumps forming on the back of his neck before planting a sultry kiss on the exposed area.

"Elaina..." Five breathed in a scold, yet his balled-up fists and flushing skin said something else.

With his eyes still on the road, Klaus scrunched up his face before putting his finger up. "No, no, no. Calm those raging teenage hormones, you two! This is meant to be a family trip!" Klaus's whines fell on deaf ears as Elaina ignored him and continued leaving butterfly kisses on Five's neck.

"Just focus on the road," answered the girl in between kisses, finally making her way toward the boy's lips.

Klaus groaned with a pout for only a brief moment before a memory popped up in his head and he began to quietly chuckle to himself. "God, I'm having such a moment of deja vu right now. It's sorta like that time we lifted that jeep remember?" said Klaus to seemingly no one as the teens continued along with their business. "Yeah, that nice red one with the convertible top. I was sitting up front, completely smacked, rolling us up a nice little doobie, while you were in the backseat hooking up with that guy, remember that?" reflected Klaus in a humorous haze, not realizing what came out of his mouth until he took a peak back over at the teen's once the sound of lip smacking stopped, only to see Five's stunned face and Elaina's mortified one.
