"Oh, damn," Elaina muttered, bending down in the backseat of the town car to reach her star bracelet that randomly fell off her wrist. "Don't want to lose that..."

"You good back there?" questioned Diego from the driver's seat, momentarily looking through the rearview mirror.

The girl stuck her cherry slushie between her thighs while she tried clasping her bracelet by herself. "Yeah, I'm good. My bracelet fell off is all,"

"Do you need help putting it back on?" offered Allison, slightly turning her body to look back at Elaina, her own slushie clutched in her hands.

After trying (and failing) to get the stubborn little clasp to reconnect with the link she sighed and nodded at her sister. "If you don't mind," she said, extending her wrist toward Allison.

The woman gave one more long slurp before setting her slushie aside. "Bring it here,"

"Thanks, Al," smiled Elaina gratefully as her sister began assisting her. "Five will kill me if I lose this,"

Allison swiftly connected both halves of the bracelet, taking in its star design before glancing up at Elaina. "A gift of his?"

"Mhm," she nodded, pulling her hand back so she could shimmy her wrist briefly in contentment. "Got it for me in our original timeline. I haven't taken it off since," the girl informed fondly.

"Must be nice," muttered Allison lowly with a subtle bite in her tone, pulling away from the girl and facing back forward.

Elaina noticed, remembering Allison's current circumstance and instantly feeling guilty. "Shit, Allison, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to–"

Allison started shaking her hand with her slushie in hand, looking over her shoulder in her own remorse. "No. I shouldn't have said that. It's not your fault," she sighed, looking back down at her beverage and stirring it around with her straw. "It's just how things are,"

"No, it was still ignorant of me to say that with what you've been going through," stated Elaina sheepishly, grabbing the slushie from between her legs. "I'm usually this oblivious when I'm drunk,"

"Speaking of that," redirected Allison as she glanced over at Diego. "You know, when you said you'd take us for a drink, I had something a little stronger in mind,"

Elaina leaned forward and shook her drink. "She's not lying. I feel deceived,"

Diego shook his head immediately. "Do not disrespect the slushie," he stated, causing the girls to scoff in unison. "Check the glove box,"

Allison and Elaina shared a look before the woman reached forward toward the glove box and checked.

In there, Allison found a silver flask. "Oh, thank God," she said, quickly uncapping the flash and pouring it into her slushie.

"Sharing is caring," remarked the girl, dangling her cup beside her sister and delighted when Allison commenced pouring the other half of the alcohol in it.

While the girls spiced up their cups, Diego pulled the car to the side of the road and put it in park.

Diego eyed the stream being poured into Elaina's slushie before his eyes trailed up to Allison. "You know, you're way more fun these days,"

Allison finished pouring and handed Diego his flask back with her brows raised. "Excuse me?"

"Telling off Luther and melting Sloane's brain," listed the knife wielder. "You were always the nice one of us,"

At this comment, the woman looked over at her brother with a debatable expression.

Diego cracked a slight grin. "Okay, okay. You know, grading on an umbrella curve,"
