//Ari
It was getting really dark, hardly anyone was out but this is exactly the way Ari liked it, she pulled out the shiny brown leather wallet from her old tattered red backpack, opening it up and seeing 'for Dr Angel' engraved in fancy letters, must've been a wedding present or something.
Ari's mood only improved when she noticed the wad of cash that was stashed behind Amelia Angel's drivers licence, who even carries this much cash with them? It didn't matter, it was perfect for Ari. She sighed with content and looked around where she stood in the towns centre, glancing over the advertisements stuck to the big board behind the information desk, one caught her eye 'motel for travelers, 20 dollars a night or 30 for two" Ari's face started to hurt from how much she had been grinning the last 20 minutes, She grabbed a map from one of the other advertisements and a pen from another, then circled where the motel was, it was only about a minutes walk. This day could not get any better.
//////
Ok so maybe it couldn't get any better but it sure as hell could get worse, Ari was currently hiding behind a big green bin in an ally, and the cops were running past, shit. Luckily she hadn't spotted any with dogs, but her best guess was they'd found the body and figured out who was missing.
She could be wrong, they might be looking for someone else.... But it was highly unlikely, she had to get to the motel, and quick. But the cops were still running by, so instead of taking the safe sidewalks with lamps and paths she turned down the ally and went through the back way.

Ari shivered as she walked through a particularly eerie street, it was so quiet she could hear the familiar ringing in her ears, but it didn't matter because the motel was only about a street away now, she kept up her causal pase, trying not to make too much noise, but as she saw the end of the ally lights shining on the path outside, she picked up the pace. Until she came to a sudden halt, two obviously drunk men stumbled into the ally way. She quickly ducked behind a gross looking trash can and listened carefully to what they were saying.
They were blabbering on about some girls they saw at a bar or something, but that quickly turned into them shouting, border line screaming at each other.
Ari could hear thumps of them hitting one another and decided she would probably get past them un noticed if she hurried.
She stepped out of her hiding place and walked as close as she could to the wall furthest from the drunk individuals, she didn't dare glance at the drunken brawl as she hurried past, the brunette let out a sigh of relief when she made it safely past them and forgot all worries she had when she turned the corner and saw the motel, right where the map said it would be.
Ari quickly hurried up the steps, smiling when she noticed the man at the front desk was starting to pack up, she hurried over and stood in front of him, he slowly glanced at her, looking quickly at her grin the rolling his eyes and sitting back at the front desk.
"how many nights." He asked in an unexcited tone, She gave him her biggest smile ever "two please" tomorrow she had to find Rosa and Audra, her two best friends, figure out a way to get to them the day after. The man sitting at the front desk typed something into the computer "Name?" She'd already thought this through "Daisy bloom" she smirked when the name of her grandmothers dog easily rolled off her lips and the man typed that into his computer as well.
"that's 30 dollars" he held his hand up, not looking up at her, Ari grabbed out the brown wallet and gave the man a twenty and a ten, without another look he took the 30 dollars and put it in the cash register, then he turned and passed her the key 'B3' "Second floor, on the right" she smiled and thanked the man then hurried up the stairs.
She opened the door and held back a sqeal of happiness at the small bedroom with white sheets, this is exactly what she wanted. The brunette dumped her bag on the ground and closed the door, locking both locks provided. She walked into the small bathroom, then rushed back to her red backpack, grabbing out a fresh change of clothes. God did she want to get out of the gross black pants and white shirt that you were forced to wear back at the whack shack.
She pulled out her burgundy red hoodie, favourite jeans, and a light yellow shirt that had snoopy smiling with caps 'be happy' written across it, she grabbed the rest of the things she would need and then chucked her socks and black converse out of her bag as well. Then she grabbed her PJ's and headed into the bathroom
Practically skipping to the bath room, she paused when she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror, her dark brown hair was a mess and her blue eyes were dull, she frowned at herself and studied the messy freckles splatted across her face with no order whats so ever, she sighed and turned away from the mirror, dumping her clothes on the floor, closing the bathroom door, striping and then turning the shower on.
She waited a bit for the water to heat up and then had it as hot as she could possibly stand, enjoying as the water ran down her body. Back in the whack shack there was a limit on how warm you could have the shower, half the time it was colder than body temperature. Most people tried to avoid taking showers there, she'd even seen a few people have to get dragged into the shower when they smelt that bad.
She sighed and turned towards the taps, that was another reason she was glad to be out of the hell hole, she turned the shower off and grabbed a towel from the towel rack and dried herself off, slipping on her PJ's and attempting to tame her wildly knotty hair into a messy bun.
She left and slipped herself into bed, grinning when the soft mattress comforted her, she laid her head on the pillow, closed her eyes, and flicked off the bedside light, she was free.
