"Alright, Yuki. Please tell me you know how to play cards at all, because the only other person that I've played against is Iroha, and she's a moron," Nikei began as he shuffled the deck. "Do you know anything? Go Fish, Poker, card forms of Uno-"

"Oh, I know all of those, actually," Yuki interrupted, shifting in his seated position to get more comfortable on the living room floor. "I play cards a lot with my dad, he taught me a lot."

"How about we start with Go Fish then, just to get you warmed up?" Nikei smiled as he finally dealt the cards to himself and the ginger facedown. The journalist picked up his cards and looked over them. Each player had gotten five cards each, and Nikei had a five, a queen, an ace, a nine, and a two.

Yuki began first after looking over all his cards. "Um, do you have a queen?"

"Go fish," Nikei lied. Yuki wasn't aware at all that he rigged the deck, and that the journalist wasn't planning on winning using honest means at all. If he knew how to cheat, then he wouldn't lose anymore. Yuki took a card, and Nikei then asked, "You got any fives?"

"Go fish," was Yuki's reply, and Nikei drew from the pile. He drew a four, but he pretended that he had ended up getting another queen by looking through his deck in a shuffling way so Yuki wouldn't know which order they were in. "Ah hell, this is just too funny. Anyway, got any queens?"

"What the hell, did you just draw one from the deck...?" the smaller man chuckled, handing over his queen and letting Nikei make a pair. The game was going to a good start for the journalist like that, but it wouldn't last despite his rigging.

Yuki somehow kept getting pairs despite Nikei's interference, and he managed to finish the game with only one point more than the journalist, who had a few of his own cards left. Yuki looked happy and a little embarrassed that he accidentally ended the game early.

"No fucking way," Nikei muttered, absolutely flabbergasted at what he was seeing. "I cheated. I rigged all of the cards in the deck. I'm blessed with Divine Luck. And you still won?! What kind of bullshit is this?!"

"Wait, you cheated? What the hell, Nikei," Yuki sighed. "But I still won, so there might be something to be said about that."

"Yeah, yeah. Karma and all that," Nikei sighed. "Plus, you're the Former Ultimate Lucky Student. I guess I messed up my hypothesis when I initially saw your skills, heh."

"Well, my luck really isn't that good. I'm just an ordinary guy," he chuckled, patting Nikei's back. "How about we move to the couch and watch a movie or something?"

"...Sure," Nikei agreed, getting up from the floor. He and the ginger moved over to the living room's couch and laid down on it, finding a position to make themselves comfortable in. Yuki laid down on his back so he could look up at the ceiling with a couch cushion under his head, though Nikei laid on his stomach on top of Yuki and rested his head in his own arms.

Yuki turned on the TV and changed to channel to one that was showing a Scooby-Doo movie, and then noticed that Nikei's expression with his head on Yuki's stomach was one of grumpiness. He kissed the journalist near the top of his forehead, and the irritable expression melted away to a flustered one.

Yuki turned his attention back to the television and watched as the Mystery Gang explored Zombie Island. Scooby-Doo was one of the few medias with horror creatures that Nikei would tolerate, it seemed that he was scared of the paranormal. But the gags in the cartoons and movie were something that he could accept, and the silly songs alleviated the horror just a lot.

Yuki kept watching the movie until it was over, though he occasionally felt the ticklish sensation of Nikei nuzzling his face into Yuki's stomach to get comfortable. When the movie ended, he looked down at Nikei and realized that the journalist hadn't moved for the past twenty minutes.

Yuki knew firsthand that the taller man slept like the dead. Once again, he found that he was trapped under the sleeping journalist. This wasn't an uncommon occurrence, but Yuki never disturbed him at all during these times. Nikei was a workaholic, he really did need his sleep.

Resigning himself to being stuck under the journalist until he wakes up, Yuki changed the channel yet again to see if there was another movie that would be playing shortly after all of the advertisements, and he found 'Atlantis: The Lost Empire' playing on a channel that he knew had little ads on it. With a click of his remote, he began watching that movie.
