"Wait, Sis, I-!"

The door slammed as Hibiki pushed Kanade out the door and locked her sister out of the house. "And that's that!"

"Is it really just okay to kick your sister out of the house like that?" Nikei questioned. "I mean, it's already evening-"

"Don't worry, I already told her what was going to happen in advance! She can go hang out with the rest of Void in your place for the night or something," Hibiki giggled. "In the meantime, let's begun our sleepover! So, what first?"

"Hm, maybe we should bake something?" Nikei suggested. "I'm not a good cook at all, but maybe we can try and make cupcakes!"

"Yeah, great idea! I'll bring you what you need and help you mix stuff, and you can handle the oven and hard parts!" the vocalist agreed, dragging the chuckling journalist to the kitchen.

One pan of charcoal cupcakes about half an hour later, Nikei and Hibiki were left stunned. "...Let's just make some ramen instead," the journalist decided.

"Um, I'll throw these out while you do that..." Hibiki put on the oven mitts and took the coal-seeming cupcakes to the trash while Nikei found where the instant ramen was in the cupboard. He made a small meal for himself and Hibiki, and they ate it after agreeing to never bake without an adequate cook again.

They decided to try something that they were both interested in and had practice in, getting and giving manicures. "We both like purple, right? Then let's make our nails purple!" Hibiki chose, getting out her nail kit and moving to the table with Nikei. "I'll do yours first, then you can do mine!"

Nikei also found glitter in the kit, so both of them both ended up with sparling purple nails. "With our looks all touched up, maybe we should do some sort of fashion show. You got any spare clothes anywhere?" Nikei asked.

"Well, the only ones that would fit you are my dad's clothes, my stuff is too small on you..." the vocalist quickly informed. "But he's got a lot of suits, we should see how you look in them!"

Grabbing a camera and stealing a bunch of clothes to Hibiki's room. The two of them tried on clothes and took pictures together, posing like models and messing around. They returned all of the clothes afterwards so nobody got in trouble though.

"With that done, how about we build a blanket fort? It'll be cool!" Hibiki suggested. "Plus, running around is pretty tiring."

"That, and the fact that it's late at night too. We should get into our pyjamas, then we can build a blanket fort. Maybe we can watch a couple movies too!" Nikei smiled, reaching for the comforter on the top of the bed. "Wait, where are we going to put the fort?"

"On the bed, silly!" Hibiki grabbed some pillows and began setting them up as walls to build their blanket fort with. Nikei was hesitant about sleeping on the same bed as her, despite not knowing if they were actually going to sleep in the fort, but he helped with the pillow for regardless.

When the fort was finally set up, the journalist and the vocalist began deciding what kind of movie they wanted to watch on the small TV in Hibiki's room. They thankfully were both pleased that neither of them wanted to watcha  horror movie, they were both scared of those. Instead, they put on the 'Into the Woods' movie to try and sing along with the characters.

"It's the laaaaaast midnight! It's the laaaaaaast verse!" Hibiki and Nikei sang together theatrically, messing around within their blanket fort. "Now, before it's paaaaaast midnight, I'm leaving you my laaaaaast curse!"

By the time the movie had finished with a reprise of the song from the beginning of the film, it was a miracle that the neighbours hadn't called the police because of the noise. They fell down in the fort laughing together as they began to relax.

"The lights are already off, and you have the remote to the TV," Nikei sighed with a smile. "Turn off the TV, and we can go to sleep."

Hibiki obliged and quietly turned off the TV, feeling very sleepy herself. After tossing aside the remote, she cuddled up to the taller man and rested her head on his chest. Nikei let out a discontent noise and tried to shake her off, but the tiny girl stayed put. "Pillows are overrated," she giggled, "laying here is much comfier!"

Nikei fell silent as he realized that he wouldn't be changing her mind anytime soon, deciding to just relax and fall asleep already. The vocalist on his chest seemed to be slipping into sleep anyway, and with the darkness of the room and the comfort of the blanket forth combining with the warmth of her body, it was clear that Nikei would follow her soon.
