Im Not Giving Up On You

Ash ran to the Pokemon Center to find Clemont and Bonnie standing outside. As Ash got closer he saw that Bonnie was crying.

"Clemont! Bonnie!" Ash yelled as he came closer, out of breath.

Clemont turned around to find Ash running towards them. "Where were you? Me and Bonnie have been looking for you and Serena! We were worried sick!"

Pikachu saw Ash and he jumped up onto his shoulder and rubbed his cheeks against Ash's. "Pika! Pikachu!" Pikachu said happily now that he was reunited with Ash.

Ash came up to Clemont and Bonnie, out of breath. Bonnie hugged him. "I thought you left back to Kanto without saying bye." She then let go. "Hey, where's Serena?" Her voice still wobbly from her crying.

"That's why I came here as fast as I could, she's missing." Ash said with a seriousness in his voice

"What? Missing!?" Bonnie asked.

Ash told everything to Clemont and Bonnie about the earthquake and the tunnel.

Bonnie started to cry again. "Will we ever she her again?" Bonnie ran over to Clemont again to hug his leg.

"Of course we'll she her again, Bonnie! We'll find her!" Ash's voice said reassuring.

Bonnie managed a little smile.

Ash turned back to Clemont.

"So the Earthquake just happened like that? Surely there must of been some kind of report from the seismometer that we have in the Lumiose City." Clemont pushed his glasses back up. "But there isn't any earthquakes that would happen here or have happened here." He brought out a machine of his that was small and lit up giving information about something. "The plates haven't collided and no earthquakes have been reported here in Lumiose City or near Lumiose City in the forest. This earthquake must of not happened naturally, maybe an artificial earthquake."

Ash stood there dumbfounded not understanding what he was saying.

Clemont cleared his throat and said, "In other means, a Pokemon could of made this earthquake, but I've never heard of this powerful of an earthquake that can make a cliff."

Ash immediately remembered something. "Clemont, the guy I fought at the Pokemon League had the most powerful Earthquake I've ever seen! Do you think it might of been him?"

"Maybe, but in the meantime let's find Serena!" Clemont said confidently.

"How do we do that?" Asked Ash.

"Oh well I haven't thought of how to yet... But do you have Serena's bag or hat by any chance?"

"No, but I have this." Ash grabbed his backpack and looked through it. He pulled out something blue. It was Serena's ribbon.

"That's perfect!" Said Clemont as he also went through his backpack and got out another machine. This one was shaped like a Pokemon. It was small and looked like a Poochyena. "With this we can find Serena in no time! This machine can find Serena by just getting her scent! I call it, The Poochyena Sniffer 2000!"

"You still need to work out on the names, bro." Said Bonnie staring at her brother in embarrassment.

"Wow science is amazing!" Ash said with admiration in his eyes. Ash handed Clemont Serena's ribbon and Clemont put it in front of the machine. The device started to make a bunch of sound and then it started to move. It's wheels moved forward and started to go foward. Clemont handed over Serena's ribbon back to Ash and then everyone followed the Poochyena.

It headed into the forest again and kept going. It took a while until they finally came toward the end of the forest where a giant cliff was up from above blocking them from going any further. The Poochyena bumped into the wall and it kept going foward.

"What's it doing? Asked Ash.

"I think it's saying either Serena is above the cliff or she's inside the cliff." Clemont said.

"Ok then." He got out a pokeball and threw its. A Pokemon came out. It was Greninja. "Greninja, keep using Waterpulse on that part of the cliff!" Ash pointed to the wall where the Poochyena was bumping into. Greninja created a sphere full of water and threw it at the wall making the wall crack and crumble.

"Wait I was only joking Ash!" Exclaimed Clemont now running over.

But before Clemont could get there the second water pulse hit and pieces of rock fell from the wall showing a medal door. This time Clemont was the one who stood there dumbfounded while Ash stood there triumphant. Greninja kept using water pulse leaving dents all over the medal door.

"Great job, Greninja! Now use Water Pulse one last time!" Yelled Ash. Greninja used the move one last time and the door came crashing down. "Thanks Greninja! Return!" A flash of light came out of the pokeball Ash held and covered Greninja. Greninja then disappeared with the flash of light.

They moved foward, following the Poochyena Sniffer 2000 again. There were tunnels just like from the hole except this one had other pathways that had lights in them with electrical cords attached to them to keep them powered from somewhere else. A noise came from one of the other tunnels and everyone turned around. A noise came again and a Pokemon came out having a bone in its hand. Bonnie moved behind Clemont.

"It's using Bone Rush!" Yelled Ash.

The Pokemon came into view and it was a Lucario.

"Luxuray, help us out and use Shock Wave!" Clemont through a pokeball and a Luxuray came out and used Shock Wave on the Lucario. "Ash go find Serena! I'll handle this!" Ash looked back at the machine that was still going foward and understood Clemont and he followed the Poochyena. The machine eventually hit another door, but this one wasn't locked so he entered. It was a lit room with technology of all kinds. A huge screen was shown in front of them. Waves of some short were shown. Ash looked around looking for Serena, but found nothing.

He then heard another noise that came from the left. He turned around finding a man cloaked in a black cloak of some sort.

"Where's Serena!?" Ash yelled, now facing him.

The man in the cloak spoke with a deep voice, "Who?" He acted as if he was thinking. "Oh, you mean the girl don't you? Well I'm sorry but right now I'm borrowing her for an experiment of mine, so if you could just move along-"

"Shut up! Show me where she is!" Ash yelled having no patience. Pikachu jumped off of Ash's shoulder and landed in front of Ash with static coming out of its cheeks.

"Well your a pesky one aren't you? Well I can fix that. Come join your friend. The man brought out a button and pressed it.

A light came on in the other corner of the room. Serena stood there attached to a machine of some sort and stood there, her pupils small and he mind blank. The machine had wired attacked to her head.

"Serena!" He yelled rushing over to her, but then a shock went through in and he was thrown back.

The man in the cloak laughed as Ash tumbled to the ground, but ash got up again and went through the shock waves this time.

"Pikachu!" His buddy said, watching from the side of the room worried about his friend.

Stinging pain went through his whole body but he kept walking.

"I'm NOT giving up until the end!" Ash yelled. "And I'm definitely not giving up on YOU Serena!" He fought through the pain and got closer to Serena with each step. He put his arm out that reached out to Serena. He kept walking toward her and finally took one last step and reached her. He stepped out onto the platform and grabbing Serena's arm. But then everything went white.
