When Ash, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie finally got home, they immediately reported the incident with officer Jenny. A search went into process and it was all over the news.
After the whole day, they were extremely exhausted, so they all headed to the Pokemon center. It was about 10:00 o'clock at night and everyone was asleep except for Serena once again. She still couldn't fall asleep. She saw something while she was in the trance, it was like a dream, but it seemed way to real. Her mind wondered, pondering about what was going to become of her and the gang. She looked back on Ash once in a while to make sure he was still asleep. Everytime she turned around his eyes were always closed, but she didn't know that Ash was secretly was pretending and listening.
Her Pokemon, Braixen, Pancham, and Eevee, all played while she looked out into the window. It was a Full Moon still with its details visible to the human eye. It's fluorescent light still shined down onto the earth giving off a blue light. The landscape was hinted with a kind of blue and was dim so it was kind of a pain for your eyes to see, but you could still admire the scenery.
"Is- is Ash going to leave?" She mumbled this to herself so Ash could barely hear but he deciphered it quickly. Braixen, Eevee and Pancham now listened and sat near Serena. "If, he is then..." She didn't say anything else. All she did was put her left hand, that wasn't hurt and she put it to her heart, but then pulled it back. Her ribbon was gone. She looked around outside, and inside the Pokemon center to find the ribbon until it was dawn. The sun came up and Serena felt tears form. "How could I lose it..." Ash stayed quiet, not knowing what was going on. He eventually fell asleep as Serena wondered the Pokemon center looking for the blue ribbon that was precious to her.
Ash woke up the next morning and found Serena crying, looking for something, under the beds and pillows.
"What's wrong Serena?" Ash asked, rubbing his eyes.
Serena jumped up, scared by Ash. "Uh, nothing, really." She wiped her tears from her cheeks and put her left arm to cover up her injured arm. 'I can't tell him I lost the ribbon, I can never tell him.' But thinking of that just brought more tears.
Ash got up from his bed and walked up to Serena. "What are you looking for?" As he said, his eyes still droopy from sleeping.
"Nothing!" Serena panicked.
"Oh, well then are you ok?"
"Yeah I'm fine." Exclaimed Serena.
"But your still holding your arm, are you sure you're ok?" Ash asked.
"Yeah, positive!" Yelled Serena.
"Then remove your hand."
Serena now sweating and realizing she had no other choice removed her hand, showing a big bruise and a cut. She didn't know why she hid it but she did, now embarrassed, she sat down on the bed. "I'm sorry." She felt guilty for lying for no reason.
"You should let Nurse Joy she it, it looks pretty bad." He then got out the blue handkerchief and tied it to her arm softly so it wouldn't hurt when he tightened it.
Serena blushed and tried not to but it failed, all it did was make her blush more.
"Come on we need to go." He held out his hand offering to Serena. Serena took it and they walked out of the room.

Ash was now walking on the sidewalks of Lumious City with Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie following."Hey guys... I'm going back to Kanto." Said Ash before he went any further.
"What?" Asked Clemont.
"But- but you said you would travel with us forever!" Cried Bonnie.
Serena, knowing this was coming said nothing.
"Don't worry Bonnie I will visit again someday!" Said Ash putting his hand on top of her head. "And Clemont keep working on becoming one of the most amazing inventors out there!" Ash shook Clemont's hand and then hugged him. He then moved to Serena, her head was looking down knowing that she was going to cry.
"Hey Serena, we'll see each other again, promise!" Ash said knowingly.
"I-" Serena started off, but she couldn't say the rest off the sentence. Her heart was beating really fast and she could feel it in her chest like it wanted Serena to tell him, it was like the emotions were trying to get to her. Her feelings for Ash failed, another feeling overcame it, sadness and stress. Her tears fell to the floor while Ash stood there with a frown. He felt horrible, like he always did, but this time it stung. All he did with Clemont, and Bonnie, he was even going to leave a person he knew from his childhood, Serena. The person who helped him a lot through his journey. When he thought of that he thought of Serena's memories and what the man in the cloak said.
"6 years. I'll be back in 5-6 years." He said muttering to himself so no one could hear, but Serena did.
She felt more tears, as the older ones fell to the ground. Ash moved forward and hugged Serena. Her tears now falling on his shoulder.
"I'll be back, I swear!" He didn't know why he hugged Serena. He just felt really bad when she cried and wanted to hug her, try to comfort her.
"I'll miss you." Serena said, tears still falling.
Ash pulled back. "Fulfill your dream Serena! Become Kalos Queen for me, will ya?" Ash exclaimed.
Serena looked up and saw his warm, comforting smile and smiled back "Yeah, I will!"

Ash went to the airport where he found Misty and was ready to board the airplane. He stopped on the way up the stairs. He looked back on his Kalos gang and had tears in his eyes, but they didn't fall. He smiled and said "Goodbye..." He then entered the the plane, it took off a little after that.Serena held her hand to the sun, now above her. She made her hand into the fist. 'I'll do my best! In five years, I'll have to become Kalos Queen by then!' Serena's thoughts flowed with the power to not give up until the end.
