Chap 16

" Pizza girl!" James smiled at me as I went and sat next to him.
"Hey"
"I'm dating Kendal" he said it so blankly as if I already knew it which I did.
"So she said yes?"
" Yeah" he scratched the back of his neck.
I smiled, "that's good."
" Yeah. So, Wanna hangout at my place today? Say 5:00? I don't really have work"
"Sure"
"Okay" he smiled and then the professor walked in. We had our class and then the professor asked me to stay back.

Again

"Yes professor?"
"Elizabeth you have really improved in your studies"
"Thank you sir."
"But I noticed that you haven't been attending you tution classes"
"Uh, I-I don't really need them anymore. I can study on my own."
"Are you sure? then I will ask Daniel to stop coming"

Daniel

That name just made my blood boil with anger. How could he even do that? Just one guy, one guy I started liking and he ruined it. He is such a good actor! Maybe he takes drama. I wish that dickhead does not get any roles in his next play!

I shook my head. What was wrong with me?
"Okay professor"
"You may leave" I nodded and left.

"Hey Elizabeth!"
" Hey James!" I walked in to his house. It was big like mine.
"Let's go to my room"
"Okay" we walked up and passed a gloomy dark room. The mere sight of it sent shivers through me. " James who's room is that?"
He looked at the room I was pointing at. "That's just a forbidden room."
"Oh"
Well that was linda weird but I didn't waste much time thinking about it.

We went to his room and spent the entire evening watching football, playing video games ( I defeated him everytime) and eating (like proper people this time). Around 9:00, I got up and went to my car. I wished him bye and drove home.

I picked up my phone
"Hello?"
" Elyssa headquarters now. New murder. 9000$." It was Damien.
I sighed. I didn't want to do this anymore, "Do I have to come?"
"Yes. Hansel's orders"
"Ok" I hung up and changed into black jeans, black top and a black jacket.
I went to my bike and drove to dark London.
