The Story of Benjamin Rogers

Part 5

Steve and Benjamin was in a tent, stealing army uniform. Peggy then ran in putting her coat on.

Peggy: "What do you plan to do, walk to Austria?"

Steve: "If that what it takes."

Peggy: "You heard the Colonel. Your friend is most likely dead."

Steve: "You don't know that."

Peggy: "Even do, he's devising a strategy. If he detects...."

Benjamin: "By the time he's done that, it could be too late!"

They then ran out, desperate to know if Buckys alive. Peggy followed them to the truck. Steve put his bag and shield in the back. Benjamin jumped in the passenger seat while Steve was speaking to Peggy.

Steve: "You told me you thought we was meant for more than this. Did you mean that?"

Peggy: "Every word."

Steve: "Then you got to let us go."

He then got in the drivers seat next to Benjamin. Peggy then walked round to Steve's side.

Peggy: "I can do more than that."

They were now in a plane with Peggy and Howard was flying. Peggy was sat opposite Steve and Benjamin holding a map. Steve was staring at the map coming up with a plan while Benjamin was drinking a blood bag to up his strength.

Peggy: "The HYDRA camp is in Krausberg, tucked between these two mountain ranges. It's a factory of some kind."

Howard: "We should be able to drop you right on the doorstep."

Steve: "Just get us as close as you can.You two are gonna be in a lot of trouble when you land."

Peggy: "And you won't?"

Benjamin: "Where we're going, if anybody yells at us, I can suck there blood."

Steve: "That's disgusting. I think I'll stick to shooting them."

Benjamin shrugged and sat back.

Peggy: "They will undoubtedly shoot back."

Steve: "Well, lets hope it's good for something."

Howard: "Agent Carter? If we're not in too much of a hurry, I thought we could stop off in Lucerne for a late-night fondue."

Peggy looked at them awkwardly and Steve looked a little jealous. Benjamin shook his head at Steve misunderstanding.

Peggy: "Stark is the best civilian pilot I've ever seen. He's mad enough to brave this airspace. We're lucky to have him."

Steve: "So, are you two...Do you..."

Peggy lucked at him expectedly.

Steve: "...fondue?"

Benjamin: "Jesus fucking Christ."

Peggy just ignored him and handed him a device.

Peggy: "This is your transponder. Activate it when you're ready and a signal will lead us straight to you."

Benjamin: "Are you sure this thing works?"

Howard: "It's been tested more than you, pal."

Benjamin: "Touché."

Guns started firing at the plane making it rock. The brothers jumped up from there seats and towards the door. They opened the door and got ready to jump out.

Peggy: "Get back here! We're taking you all the way in!"

Benjamin: "As soon as we're clear, you turn this thing around and get the hell out of here!"
