It was now the next day and Tony was in court. Pepper and Benjamin was sat next to each other watching on.

Senator: "Mr. Stark, could we pick up now where we left off?

Tony was looking and trying to start a conversation with Benjamin who was happily replying. Pepper elbowed him in his side and mouthed to Tony to turn around. He then did after the judge banged his gravel.

Senator: "Mr. Stark. Please."

Tony: "Yes, dear?"

Senator: "Can I have your attention?"

Tony: "Absolutely."

Senator: "Do you or do you not possess a specialised weapon?"

Tony: "Do not."

Senator: "You do not?"

Tony: "I do not. Well, it depends on how you define the word 'Weapon'."

Senator: "The Iron Man weapon."

Tony: "My device does not fit that description."

Senator: "Well... How would you describe it?"

Tony: "I would describe it by defining it as what it is, Senator."

Senator: "As?"

Tony: "It's a high-tech prosthesis."

The crows laughed. Benjamin smirked and chuckled. Pepper kept a straight face and gave Benjamin a 'mom' look.

Tony: "That is... That is... That's actually the most apt description I can make of it."

Senator: "It's a weapon. It's a weapon, Mr. Stark."

Tony: "Please, if your priority was actually the well-being of the American citizen..."

The Senator interrupted Tony.

Senator: "My priority is to get the Iron Man weapon turned over to the people of the United States of America."

Tony: "Well, you can forget it. I am Iron Man. The suit and I are one. To turn over the Iron Man suit would be to turn over myself, which is tantamount to indentured servitude or prostitution, depending what on what state your in."

The room chuckled again. Pepper again kept a straight face.

Tony: "You can't have it."

Senator: "Look, I'm no expert..."

This time Tony interrupted the Senator.

Tony: "In prostitution? Of course not. You're a Senator. Come on."

Everyone laughed and Tony turned around. Pepper looked far from impressed where as Benjamin gave him a thumbs up. Pepper pushed Benjamin's hand down and shook her head at Tony. He then turned back to the Senator.

Senator: "I'm no expert in weapons. We have somebody here who is an expert on weapons. I'd now like to call Justin Hammer, our current primary weapons contractor."

Tony's head shot up at the name of Justin and Benjamin furrowed his eyebrows. He knew the rivalry between the two gentlemen and was confused why the Senator would bring him, he would clearly be biased. He then leaned into Pepper a little so she could hear him.

Benjamin: "What's he doing here?"

Pepper: "I don't know, but if Tony doesn't play his cards right, it could end very badly for him."

Justin Hammer then sat down in a chair on the opposite side of the room.

Tony: "Let the record reflect that I observed Mr. Hammer entering the chamber, and I am wondering if and when any actual expert will also be in attendance."
