The Story of Benjamin Rogers

Part 6

Steve and Benjamin were now in London despite having to go to an award ceremony to accept a medal. Neither of them wanted it though. They were in a secret base giving information about the HYDRA bases whereabouts. Luckily, Benjamin memorised the map on the wall.

Benjamin: "The fifth one was here in Poland, right near the Baltic. And the sixth one was about here, 30, 40 miles west of the Maginot Line."

A soldier then removed the map from the table.

Benjamin: "I just got a quick look."

Peggy: "Well, nobody's perfect."

Peggy then walked off. Steve followed her like a love struck puppy and Benjamin smiled and followed after him seeing as he's the one with information. They were then presented with another map.

Benjamin: "These are the weapon factories we know about."

He point at the already marked places.

Benjamin: "Sergeant Barnes said that HYDRA shipped all the parts to another facility that isn't on this map."

Phillips: "Agent Carter, coordinate with MI6. I want every Allied eyeball looking for that main HYDRA base."

Peggy: "What about us?"

Phillips: "We are going to set a fire under Johann Schmidt's ass. What do you say Rogers? It's your map. You think you can wipe HYDRA off it?"

Benjamin: "Yes, sir. Me and my brother will need a team."

Phillips: "We're already putting together the best men."

Steve: "With all due respect, sir, so am I."

Steve was sat at the table with the crew he wanted for the mission. Benjamin was buying a round of drinks to try and persuade them. He joined them in time to here one of them say there in if they do one thing.

Soldier: "Open a tab."

Benjamin: "Already on it, gentlemen."

He then placed a beer in front of each of them and they cheered. He then left them to sit with Bucky. Steve stayed with them as he was enjoying himself.

Bucky: "See? I told you. They're all idiots."

Benjamin then ordered a drink.

Benjamin: "How about you? You read to follow Captain America and The Vampire into the jaws of death?"

Bucky: "Hell no. The little guys from Brooklyn who were too dumb not to run away from a fight. I'm following them. But your keeping the outfits, right?"

They shared a laugh.

Benjamin: "I am definitely not. Although I think the star-sprangled suit has grown on Steve. Everything then went silent and Peggy walked in dressed in a red dress. She ignored everyone apart from Steve. Benjamin and Bucky rose from there seats to Steve's side.

Peggy: "Captain."

Steve: "Agent Carter."

Benjamin saw Bucky look her up and down, checking her out, making him slap him on the back of his head.

Bucky: "Ma'am."

Peggy paid no attention to either of them apart from Steve.

Peggy: "Howard has some equipment for you to try. Tomorrow morning?"

Steve: "Sounds good."

Peggy: "I see your top squad is prepping for duty."

Bucky: "You don't like music?"
