Meanwhile at Evermoon College

CHAPTER 13

meanwhile in the dorms: 

"RATS?!" Rasputin screeched out.

"They won't free roam! Don't worry, they'll be in my room like... all the time." Gauge tried to calm Rasputin.

The screaming coming from the hallway alerted nearly everyone in the dorms.

"What is happening over here?!" a rather tired-looking Jasper came from his apartment.

"Well I bought some rats to keep in my dorm, and I don't think Rasputin likes them." Gauge looked at his feet.

"Gauge, you should have at least asked the others if they would mind." Rasputin rubbed his temples.

The other students started to slowly come out of their dorms to see what was happening.

"What's this all about?" Athena was obviously mid-workout.

"We got rats!" Gauge showed off the cage.

"I assume they will stay off my food and floors, right?!" Athena became skittish really quickly.

"Yeah! they will stay supervised by me all the time, you guys don't have to worry." Gauge straightened himself.

"What does your roommate think of this?" Jasper looked over at Cedric.

"Well if the rats don't eat Simon, I'm fine with it I guess." Cedric shrugged.

"Who is Simon?" Jasper looked confused.

"My stick bug!" Cedric smiled.

"It's nearly a zoo in here, can we agree on just keeping it on some rats and a... stick bug?" Jasper looked around.

Everyone agreed and went back to their business. 

Meanwhile, Athena got a text.

'Hey love! It's me. How are you doing?' Freja sent.

'Hiya, I was working out until Gauge brought home some rats.' Athena answered quickly.

'Gross! Want to get some food? I'm starving ;C' Freja sent.

'Yeah sure, meet you at the get-together? I'm going to take a shower really quick, and then I'll be on my way.' Athena started to grab a towel and a new outfit.

'Already there, want me to order you something in advance?' Freja asked.

'Surprise me X' Athena smiled as she put down her phone and stepped into the shower.

When Athena got out of the shower she was dressed. Some joggings, a tank top. Normally she would wear her varsity jacket, but they still had to hand in their code names and numbers. When she headed out of the bathroom, she saw Severin playing his guitar.

"Do you ever actually work out?" Athena looked over at him.

"Playing guitar is actually pretty exhausting, you should try it out sometimes." Severin grinned as he flexed his biceps.

"Right. Those won't help you with that weak ass defense of yours." Athena scoffed at the confidence.

"Neither will that attitude. You know, I get it. you're mad because you are better at a different stance on the team. But come on man, I'm REALLY trying here!" Severin sat up straight.

"Really trying to stomp all over my dreams yeah." Athena walked out and slammed the door shut.

Yet when she closed the door, she stood there for a solid 5 seconds.
