Meanwhile on the football field,

It was early morning as the football team entered the field that was still covered with dewfall.
players were either chatting or already running laps around the field as coach Jeremiah entered the field with a fresh cup of coffee, "Gather around y'all we got important stuff to discuss." he yelled as all the players gathered around.

"So as y'all already know we will be having a game against Sparta College in a week. That means we will be practicing every morning up until the game." Jeremiah's statement earned a couple of groans from the players.

"I know, I know. Believe me, I don't want to get up at 5 am either. But this team is known to be feisty." Jeremiah sighed.

"What do you mean by 'feisty'?" Athena asked.

"Let me just say their coach doesn't take losing too well. Gosh darn you Marcus..." Jeremiah raised a fist up in the air.
"Oh, and let's not forget his son Shiva, their Quarterback."

"Nepotism at its best." Athena cackled.
"Usually I would agree, but this boy has earned his spot." Jeremiah looked nervous.

"So, with that said, let us get into it for today. Let's start with 5 laps around the field" Jeremiah signed for the players to get onto the field.

Severin finally caught up to Athena, who was obviously avoiding him.
"Dude what is up with you. You've been acting strange lately." Severin finally scraped together the courage to confront them.

"It's nothing." Athena picked up the pace.
"It sure doesn't seem like it's nothing. You usually wake me up way too early for practice, i almost overslept today." Severin scoffed.

"And that is my problem? Set an alarm." Athena rolled their eyes.

"Fair enough, you're right. Still doesn't explain why you're acting this way." Severin continued.

"How about you figure that out yourself." Athena said as they bolted ahead leaving Severin running by himself.

As the football team was busy practicing the cheerleader team also joined them on the field.

"Soooo, you and Severin huh." Rasputin raised an eyebrow at Tabitha.
"What about it?" Tabby looked up at him.

"Don't play dumb, he's obviously into you." Rasputin scoffed.
"I don't think so." Tabby rolled their eyes at the comment

"Are you really that naive? So, I'm taking it's not mutual." Rasputin dug a little deeper.

"As I said before, I'm not looking for anything. So no, even if you're right it is not mutual." Tabby said while looking at him from across the field.

"You know Tabby, we both know about your situation. Why not 'use' the fact a rich guy is into you for personal gain." Rasputin shrugged as he shot a suggestive look at Tabby.

"I'm not a gold digger, and you don't know shit about my situation." Tabby scoffed and walked away.

Sitting down on one of the benches looking over the field Tabby started thinking to themselves.
'Does he really like me? No way, right?'

But their train of thoughts got derailed by Freja sitting down next to them.
"Whatcha thinking about?" She shot them a sweet smile.

"Oh, nothing special, just something Rasputin just told me." Tabby answered.

"Is it about Severin?" Freja asked as if she could read their mind.
"How did you know?" Tabby shot up.

"it's kind of obvious, isn't it. He's looking at you right now." Freja pointed over at Severin who was staring whilst listening to Jeremiah explaining a new tactic.
