Nancy walked into school with stares piecing her skull like arrows. Whispers spread like a virus. Nancy didn't care. She was free. Away from Steve Harrington. She headed to her locker. There was writing. And posters. Nancy the Slut Wheeler. She looked around and ripped them off walking away from it. She couldn't deal with the fact that everyone knew. No one said anything. She went to the bleachers. The cold air feeling like medicine. She sat underneath away from the view of people. She cried not holding in the pain anymore. She threw her bag in rage.

"Woah! Don't kill me. You good?" She turned around. Robin was sat in a dark part of the bleachers. "What?" She spat out. Robin swung on the bars. "Hey I'm being nice to you. Consider this the only time. Just trying to help considering you are clearly sad". She leaned on the post. "Did you see it?" Nancy asked dubbing her eyes. "What? The crying or?" Nancy shook her head. "The writing. Steve has really out done himself this time". Robin realised. "Well if it helps I'll gladly punch that hair all down a few pegs". Nancy laughed. "There we go". Robin smiled. Nancy stood up completely looking at Robin. "You didn't go to the DND thing. Felt sure he wasn't going to do something stupid huh?" Robin folded her arms. Nancy nodded. The pair stood in awkward silence. "I mean I didn't really want to go hang out with all those weirdos and my brother like that's embarrassing". Nancy smiled. Robins face dropped.

"That what you think Hellfire is?" Robin looked angry. "No not you. I didn't mean it like that". Robin scoffed and grabbed her bag. "Guess you and Steve were really toxic then". She walked off leaving Nancy angry at herself. She wanted to run after the girl to say sorry but she was stuck to the ground.

Everyone whispered as she walked to her class. Nancy didn't even care anymore. She had to go to science. She walked in. Everyone was lined up at the back. "Ah Miss Wheeler. Line up. I have a new seating arrangement". She locked eyes with Robin and Eddie as she headed to the back. They looked away. Steve didn't acknowledge her. Her friends didn't either. "This desk I want Mr Harrington and Mr Munson. Since you both love expressing yourself". The boys argued but inevitably sat down turned away. The desk behind them was next. "Here. Miss Wheeler. And Miss Buckley. I can keep an eye on you both now". Everyone laughed. Robin rolled her eyes. "You're joking?" Robin shouted. She slammed herself into the chair. Nancy tried smiling.

Eddie and Robin were talking and laughing. "We need one more person for tonight by the way". Eddie said between laughs. "What why?" Robin looked disappointed. "Because they said to use the facilities we've got to have at least 10 people. Me, you, Henderson, Mini Wheeler, Byers, Sinclair, Mini Sinclair, Gareth And Jeff". Robin smirked. "Who else knows the game?" Robin looked at Eddie. "I don't think anyone does. How about just someone to like bring snacks and stuff?" Robin smiled and clicked her fingers with excitement.

Nancy felt awkward listening to the conversation but she wanted to apologise to Robin and thought this was her chance. "I can do it. I mean I'd have to pick up Mike anyway". Nancy bit her lip. Robin gave her a glare. Eddie looked at Robin and smirked. "Sure. Bring snacks but otherwise we won't hesitate to embarrass Mini Wheeler". Nancy nodded slightly afraid. Robin stared at her. Steve turned around. "Will you be quiet?" Robin smirked. "I will once you get the bagel crumbs out your hair". He panicked and fixed his hair. Nancy laughed.

She stood alone outside the door with a bag full of snacks. She knocked but no one answered. The sun was setting and the cold air was flowing through the school. She wanted to walk off. But the door opened. Robin stood there. "You got snacks?" Nancy nodded. She entered to arguing and cheering. They all stared. Eddie prepared his massive speech. Nancy watched mesmerised by the effort. She saw Robin. She was smiling and laughing one second and cursing and confused the next. She found it funny.

Nancy continued to eat cookies until suddenly the game ended. Nancy figured by the cheers and hugging. She laughed. Robin left to grab a cookie. She noticed they were all gone. She smirked at Nancy. "Oh I see". Nancy hid her cookie. She hadn't eaten it yet. She split it and gave the bigger half to Robin. "I'm still sorry for earlier. I was a douche". Robin nodded. "I forgive you". Nancy smiled. "I could not forgive you so you are forced to bring food all the time". The pair laughed. Robin seemed to psych herself up. "Are you free this weekend?" Robin asked. Nancy shrugged. "Just we are playing at a bar downtown. We are selling tickets and I was just curious. You don't have to". Robin leaned against a table. "We?" Nancy asked before biting a cookie. "Uh yeah Hellfire also have a band. Corroded Coffin. Gareth over there is our drummer. Jeff is a guitarist and bassist. Eddie is guitarist and singer. I sing". Robin smiled. "You sing? What like heavy metal?" Nancy laughed. "That's why Eddie does. To cover up my voice". The pair laughed. "I'll come. Sounds fun".

Robin smirked. "See you then Wheeler". Everyone gathered their things and began leaving. Nancy smiled now excited that she was going to watch this mysterious girl sing. At least she was forgiven. Nancy couldn't find the words to describe why she was so keen on being around Robin. She had an ache now they met. Mike and her jumped into her car and Nancy smiled all the way home.

Eddie and Robin drove back to his trailer. "What's got you in a happy mood?" Eddie smiled. Robin looked away smiling. "Another fan for our gig". Robin smiled harder. "Wheelers coming? Jesus you have a hold on her". Robin looked confused. "What?" Robin asked. "I mean you got The Nancy Wheeler to come to our gig. I'm just saying keep an eye out". Robin laughed and they headed into the trailer. They turned when the fence rattled. Eddie ran over. "You good little Red?" Eddie untied Max from a hosepipe and a fence. "You got Nancy to go to a Corroded Coffin concert?" Max laughed. "That would only happen if pigs flew". Eddie smirked pointing to Robin. Max nodded. "I see". Robin hit Eddie and let Max go back to her trailer. Robin was now confused. It was just a gig.
