A/N Enjoy!

Everyone was sleeping in the Wheeler household until suddenly a waft of bacon and eggs made it's way through the Wheeler home. Karen was first the stand outside her door confused. Mike and Nancy looked around spotting their mothers confused face. Holly ran down the hall. Ted came behind his wife and they all headed downstairs. They were nonetheless surprised when Robin stood in the kitchen with a tea towel over her shoulder placing bacon on to plates. Nancy smiled. "Well how nice of you. But please don't burn anything". Karen felt strange sitting down at the table. Robin put plates of steaming hot breakfast in front of everyone. Except Holly. She walked over with a plate of pancakes. She leaned down and Holly whispered in her ear. "Their my favourite". Robin smiled. "I know". Robin looked at Nancy and winked. Nancy saw it whilst drinking coffee and almost spat it out. Everyone looked at her. Mike laughed.

"You really didn't need to cook Robin". Nancy said while the girl sat down next to her. "My great considering I'm staying here for a week". Karen rolled her eyes. "Mom be nice for once. She's not a demon. She made you breakfast and still you can't even say thank you". Karen slammed her hand on the table. Nancy didn't flinch unlike the others. "I've had enough of your attitude". Karen's tone was angry. "The only reason I have it is because you are so uptight and hypocritical". The pair stared at each other. "I will not tolerate such behaviour". Karen raised her voice slightly. "Then why do act just like it?" Mike smirked and Robin picked up her mug and her face fell into a snarky shocked expression. Holly ate her pancakes watching it unfold. "Nancy! You are becoming a whole new horrible child. That Hellfire has turned you both. With its Satanic rituals and sacrifices". Robin spat out her coffee. "Respectfully ma'am, Hellfire is exactly the same as a totter club. It gives your son the freedom to actually enjoy his life instead of listening to the frequent arguing. Nancy has actually laughed which clearly no one has seen for too long. Next time you disrespect something that your kids truly find interesting or understand try asking them before believing your stupid speculations". Robin nearly ran out of breathe. Nancy smiled. Karen got up and left.

All of the family had begun talking again. They were all changed in the living room. Nancy and Mike were doing their own things. Karen watched Robin like a hawk. She was sat on the floor. Holly turned to her mother. "I wanna be an artist now". Karen rolled her eyes. "Honey maybe try a realistic job. Like a nurse". Holly frowned. Robin moved closer to the child. "An artist huh? You draw?" Robin asked smiling. Holly grinned and nodded showing her some well done pictures. One being her own backyard. It was surprisingly detailed. Not completely a match but you could easily see she had a talent. "These are incredible. Keep going. You can definitely be an artist". She ruffled the girls hair and got up to go upstairs. Nancy smirked as her mother sat there with a surprised expression. Nancy followed Robin. She walked into her room to find Robin reading on the windowsill. "I couldn't deal with your moms eye daggers". The pair laughed. "Holly clearly loves you". Robin smiled quite proud. "You might have to make more frequent visits now. After this week". Nancy nodded. "Wouldn't be too bad. Companies great apart from the wicked witch of the west". Nancy giggled. "Anyone ever tell you that you have a really cute laugh?" Robin asked.

Nancy didn't know what to say or feel. "Uh n-no". Robin nodded. "Listen I was wondering if it's ok if you can give me a ride to Eddies. I have an idea". Nancy nodded. "You can leave me there then. It'll take an hour. And it's a surprise". The pair grabbed the keys and headed out. They arrived and Eddie welcomed her in Nancy left. "I should warn you I have a friend round. Don't go in my room". Eddie left for the bathroom. A door opened and Steve walked out. Robin stopped rummaging through a box. "Steve Harrington?" He stood there panicking. "What? Your the one that's Nancys friend right?" He sounded like he had seen some traumatic things. "Yep. Actually here to grab stuff for Nancy". Steve nodded. "Didn't know you were friends with Eddie". Steve nodded. "He uh teaches me guitar". Steve ruffled his hair. "Steve the Hair Harrington wants to be a rock star". Robin laughed. "Shut up what can you do?"  Robin stood up. "I sing for Corroded Coffin". Steve looked like he was processing something. "Oh that's you. And the girl I blamed for me and Nancy breaking up. I'm sorry". Robin felt a wave of shock. "Sorry?" Robin couldn't believe what he had said. "Tommy and Carol leave these expectations on you. And Nancy and I have had a rocky relationship and I realise we are better alone. And I blamed someone else but I want to mature as a person and be better so I'm sorry". Robin was truly surprised. "Do you even know my name?" Steve thought again. "R-Robin right?" She nodded. "Can we start over?" Robin nodded still her jaw on the ground. He extended his arm for her to shake. "Nice to meet you I'm Steve". She shook his arm. "I'm Robin". Eddie walked back in and laughed at Robins face.

Robin waited for a bus but it never came. She saw Steve leave Eddies house. He watched him drive but suddenly reverse. "Umm I barely know you but it's clear that it's cold and you might not trust me but uh you want a ride?" Robin nodded hesitantly pulling the door handle. "You staying at Nancys?" Robin nodded. "How's that? Karen still horrible?" Robin laughed. "Yeah actually. Although I think I'm winning her over". Steve smirked. "How'd you do it?" Steve asked. He sounded genuinely curious. "Holly apparently loves me". Steve nodded. "Well played. Well I remember once I went over her house for dinner and Karen made me eat off a different plate to stop her China getting wrecked". Robin laughed. "Oh my god". The pair laughed. Robin didn't realise that Steve was actually trying to be nicer. "Why you even at Wheelers?" Steve asked. "Well when your dad hates you and preferred anything but home and Mom walked out. Things get lonely". Robin bit her lip. "I get it. My dad expected me to be this smart well behaved kid. Turned out I was a douche. They are never home to care about it anyway". The pair looked at each other. Steve grabbed something from the glovebox as soon as the car stopped. "This is my house phone. If you ever wanted to talk. If that's ok with you?" Steve held out a piece of paper. "Thanks". Robin got out and Nancy was confused. "Did Steve just give you his number?" Robin nodded. "Not like that. Turns out he has turned over a new slate. And we apparently have stuff in common so". Nancy was confused. "Anyway. Wanna see what I got you?" Nancy smiled and nodded. "Ok come on".
