Robin sat on the sofa with a small show box. "So Holly. You like drawing? How about a paint set?" Hollys face lit up and she ran over and held it like it was a baby. Nancy smiled. "Mike. Here's these". She threw some tapes of different cartoons and shows that he loved. "Nance". She gave the box to her and it was a mixtape. A shirt. And even some books. Nancy hugged Robin and they stayed like it for a couple of minutes. They pulled away. "Now I get to wear a Robin shirt". Nancy put it on. It was slightly big but Nancy loved it. "Anything else?" Karen walked over smiling. "Nope. Just this". She slipped her hand inside the box and pulled it out flipping off Karen. She walked away angrily. "Your mom and I are close". Nancy said goodnight after talking for a while and sat on her bed. Karen walked in.

"Nancy. She has got to go. You've got 3 days. Or your both out". Nancy didn't know what to do. Meanwhile downstairs Robin did something that her crippling anxiety and energy outburst made her do. The phone rang. It picked up and Steve sure enough gave her a real number. "Hello?" Steve sounded tired. "H-hi I Um was bored and uh called cause you said whenever I want to talk right?" Steve laughed. "What's wrong?" Robin laughed. "You sat down?" Steve laughed. "Yeah?" Robin smiled. "So it all started like 3 years ago".

Robin finally finished. "And I guess that's why I'm not good with people". Steve breathed heavily. "You know what usually you'd be annoying but you're actually funny". Robin laughed. "Thanks". The pair didn't talk. "Well I've got to go. Talk to you soon". Robin hung up. She went upstairs to a crying Nancy. "What's up Nance?" Robin hugged her. "You've got 3 days before my mom kicks us both out". Robin nodded. "I can stay with Eddie. Or Max". Robin hesitated before saying another option. "Or Steve. If he really has changed". Nancy was confused. "He drives. He knows where you live. I can get to know him". Nancy nodded. "You've known him 5 minutes and you trust him". Robin nodded. "I've got a vibe". Nancy laughed.

The next morning Nancy and Robin woke up cuddling each other. "Oh sorry". Robin smiled. They both went downstairs to nothing. Nancy grabbed and snack and went back to bed praying for a lie in. Robin sat downstairs and heard shuffling in the basement. She panicked. She grabbed a broom and headed down and loosened up when Holly was sat drawing. "Hey kiddo. Using that art set?" Holly nodded grinning. Robin sat next to her. Holly looked at Robin. "You're pretty". Robin smiled. "Thank you. And you are very pretty". Holly beamed. "Nancy thinks you're very pretty too". Robin smirked. "She told you that?" Holly nodded. "She said that she was lucky you actually think shes a nice person and you are very very pretty". Robin didn't realise how good Holly was at listening.

Knowing this household she would know a lot. Poor thing. "You like music?" Robin asked. Holly nodded. She got up and ran upstairs and came back down with her backpack. "If you ever feel sad. Or people are shouting. Use this". She pulled a Walkman out and put the headphones on Holly. ABBA played quietly in Holly ears and she hugged Robin. "Your nicer than the other boys. You are my favourite". Robin hugged the girl. Nancy eventually came to the basement and saw Robin cuddling a chill Holly.

"You must be a saint". Nancy laughed. "Ask ABBA". Robin smirked. Holly couldn't hear this time. Robin made sure. "Holly told me you said I was pretty". Robin smirked. Nancy panicked. "I uh. Maybe". Robin laughed. "Very actually". Robin knew exactly what she was doing. Nancy blushed slightly. "I think your pretty too". Nancy looked into Robins eyes for some sort of lie. It was just pure joy. "I can move out today if your mom is that aggravated about it by the way". Nancy nodded. "She is going to execute you". Robin laughed and headed to the phone.

"Hey? Steve". Robin awkwardly said. "Hi Robin. What's up?" Robin sighed. "I was wondering if I could stay in your house for a couple days. Karen's kicking me out. You said you get lonely so maybe we could keep each other company". Steve laughed. "Of course you can please. Why me though?" Steve asked. "We'll Eddie has study buddies over all the time. Max is a child. Mike is where I'm living. Dustin has his issues". Steve laughed. "I can pick you up in 30 minutes". Robin agreed and said goodbye. Karen was awake and giving glared to Robin. "I'm leaving". Robin smirked. She had a box of things and headed to the door. Nancy hugged her. "Come to his house if you want. I mean in the week". Nancy laughed and Steve pulled up shortly afterwards. "Hi Nancy". He awkwardly waved. Robin giggled and waved goodbye.

"So why'd they kick you out?" Steve laughed. "I'm a bad influence". Steve smirked. "She's a tight ass". Robin said. Steve nodded and the pair laughed. The pair arrived at the Harrington House. Robin was not surprised at how big it was. Steve showed her the spare room. They both sat downstairs drinking Coke. "How long have you and Nancy been friends officially then?" Steve broke the silence. "Like 2 weeks". Steve nodded. Steve and here stared at each other. "I mean felt weird staying at her house". Steve sat up more. "Why?" Robin smirked. "I slept in the same bed Steve Harrington was sat on". The pair laughed and realised there was something they needed in each other. A best friend. "Is it crazy that even though I barely know you that I think that me and you are like best friends?" Robin asked. "I feel the same". Steve and her smiled.

"You made the right choice Nancy". Karen said at the silent dinner table. "You are the worst". Nancy slammed the table. "She is not good on you. A bad influence. Not to mention how unmannered she was". Nancy got up and left. She changed into her pyjamas but instead of the usual top she lay in a certain big shirt. The scent of Robin still beside her at night.
