I was woken up by some strange buzzing sound. At first I tought that the buzzing sound was in my head so I ignored it but it continued to buzz even louder and was causing me a headache.

I opened my eyes hoping the annoying sound would magicaly dissapear but it didn't.

I looked at the nightstand next to me and realized that the wierd buzzing sound was my phone. I picked it up.

"Mmm?" I asked trying not to fall asleep.

"Meet me outside." He said and hung up.

Not this again! Can't you ever let the poor girl sleep?

I put on my sweatpants (well...more like Emily's sweatpants) and a big sweater laying on the chair near me and quietly went downstairs. I already was used to going up and down the stairs with one leg so that wasn't the problem anymore. The problem was the person waiting outside.

"How come you allways come to me at night? Do you guys even sleep?" I asked him as he opened the car door so I could step inside the car.

He ignored my question and with a big, loud bang slammed the car door shut. The car was dark and I couldn't see anything exept his silouete.

"What happened to you're leg?" A deep voice asked. I felt a little uncomfortable sitting so close to the man who spoke even when we were nearly two feet apart.

"Don't you know? You allways seem to know things about me before I even do. So tell me... What happened?" I asked him more like challengim him. I felt this wierd feeling me that made me deffend myself, even when the man hadn't said anything to insult me.

"Well... you know The Man does know everything. You shouldn't doubt it but he isn't so interested to tell us. So what happened?" He said as I shifted in my seat.

I recognized his voice. He was the same man who took me on a car ride before. He seemed defferent than before. He was more relaxed... his voice sounded softer than before.

"Well... I fell..." I blushed remembering the situation.

"Did it hurt?"His question seemed weird and even taken out of place.

For a moment I thought that he was really interested and cared about me but I shifted that tought away as fast as I could. He was my enemy and he kidnapped my family. He didn't care for me. He was just probably just some sick psiho who enjoyed other's pain.

"No, genius, I enjoyed falling on my but and spraining my anckle..." I replied sarcasticly."Why do you even care?"

"Anyway here is your new job..." He said and handed me a white envelope. I stayed quiet for a moment not sure what to say and trying to hold my tears in as I felt they were ready to spill. I could break into one painful, fierce scream and let all of my feelings out. There were so many of them.

"And this time please do it exactly like he told you."

"What do you mean?" I asked not knowing what he means.

"I mean last time when you did what he asked, you left a big mess behind. And we were the ones who had to clean it up, remember? So do it exactly as you are told."

"First of all - you didn't ask but ordered. That makes the whole situation different. And for the record I did as good as I could..."I started to get annoyed.

The car stopped. I looked out of the window and we once again were back at the house. I was almost relieved that this car ride was over. I jumped out of the car as fast as I could and went back to my room. All that I could do was sleep. I tucked the envelope under the pillow so that no one could find it and layed on my stomach. Fist time when I closed my eyes they remained closed and I fell asleep. The whole nigh was full of weak, dreamless sleep.

In the next morning I felt like I hadn't even slept. My eyes felt puffy and swollen.

I stayed laying on my bed and didn't dare to move. I was in some kind of trance. I was deep in my thoughts I didn't want to move. The nightmare from my sleep still hadn't left my mind. It wasn't a suprise for me to have nightmares. I've had them since the incident. They replayed in y dreams every night. Every night I saw the same dream all over again. Though I had been use to them by now - I saw them, but I didn't wake up in the middle of the night screaming for help. This time was different - I felt scared again. Goosbumps run all over my body by remembering the dream again.

I had dreamt of my family being murdered.

The time was running fast and my midnight "walks" weren't much help either for waking up early. Looking at the clock on my nightstand I realized that it was afternoon already and my morning plans were ruined.

I dressed myself and went downstairs. The house was empthy and I didn't find anyone exept a cat. I didn't even know they had a cat...

I made breakfast... well now it more seemed like lunch... and turned on TV. I was watching some dramatic soap opera when a local news TV reporter showed up on the screen reporting important and suprising news. She explained that a small house had been broken into near the big city. The man who had broken in had escaped before the police came. She warned everyone who was watchingto lock their doors and keep an eye on someone suspicious. While she was talking a photorobot appeared on the screen besides her. I looked at the man in the photography. He didn't seem so familiar but there was something about him that made my insides turn.

A woman appeared on the screen. Her name was Abby Rotmond as I read on the screen.

"Last night a fifteen-year-old boy showed up on my house porch wanting for help. At first I didn't believe him because I already had this kind of situation with some middle shool kids who were just pranking me. I tried to calm him down. I bringed him into my house. After about five minutes some stranger knocked at my door demanding to let him in. I ignored it hoping that he would stop but he just knocked on the door harder. I tought he was going to knock the whole house down. I got scared and called the police. When he stoped knocking on the door I heard two gunshots. He rushed in the house looking for the boy. We both were hidden in my closset by the time he got in. I'm just really thankful that the police came in time..." A red headed lady told. She was wearing a yellow blazer and a grey coat over it. Her hands were cluching the coat's belt. I saw her knuckles go white and imagined her to just keep her hands from trembling. They still could be seen doing that so she wasn't good at it, but who could blame her? The woman didn't seem familiar.

Behind her stood brown haired, pale, fragile boy. He looked like he was going to throw up. At first I didn't notice him or recognize him. He looked small and anorexic in the TV.
And then he looked straight into the camera. He was staring into my eyes. Into my soul  - as they sya. My mouth fell right open and my heart started pumping so loud that I thought it was going to jump out of my mouth. I felt relieved but scared for him. I was happy he was still alive, though he didn't look like it.

I felt so sorry for him. He was so young, he should not supposed to be going through this, but then again - so was I. No one should be going through this.

My head felt dizzy and my hands weren't in my control anymore, butone thing was sure - he was my brother.
