"I can't wait for tomorrow!" She said as she looked at herself in the mirror. She really liked to dress up and go shoping. That's why we were at the mall.
"What's tomorrow?" I asked her already knowing the answer to my question.
She tried to zip up her dress. I motioned Kelly to let me help her and ziped up her dress. She looked beautifull. Her long, light brown, wavy hair was running down over her back and reached her waist. She was wearing a bright red dress which highlited her full shape. She was beautiful. Not too skinny and not too thick, but just enaugh for any boys liking.
I wish I could be like her. A sudden thought drifted in my head.
The dress looked perfect on her and the bright red colour matched her dull personality. As for me... I looked bad in any kind of dress. I didn't really like shopping either because going though the shops of all kind was like torture to me.
Not that I mind shoping or anything but with Kelly - my best friend, it was exactly like torture. She didn't stop untill the last clothe shop was complitely out of clothes or either a huricane was destroing the mall.
She was that kind of a girl who got what she wanted no matter what she had to do to get it. I know it sounds a little bit teriffing but that's exactly what she was. She was terrifying - in the nicest way possible.
We were best friends from kindergarden. She let me play with her dolls and I let her play with mine. She was nice to me and we allways supported each other no matter what we did.
Once my dog died I was so devistated that I cryed five days straight. She came to my house and comforted me as best as a ten-year-old could comfort her best ten-year-old friend whose dog had died a week ago.
She was the best-est best friend I could even ask for.
"Tomorrow's my birthday! You knew that! Why would you be at the mall with me anyways?" Kelly's eyes lit up with excitement.
"This dress looks perfect on you."
"I know!" She replied.
"Wow... cocky much?" I laughed at her.
"Stop laughing and help me get this off. I'm buying it!" She strugled with the zipper at her back trying to reach it and miserably failing at it.
"Finaly! After years in this prisson..." I threw my arms up and went to help her.
"You know we have to buy a dress for you too..." She laughed.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!..." I fell on my knees wisper-screaming dramatically. I looked up at the ceiling bringing my hands up in the air cursing everything in my way.
Kelly came out of the dressing room and looked at me. I was still sitting on the floor with my hands in my lap.
"Are you coming or sitting on the floor in the midle of the store like a crazy person..."
"Fine..." I let out. "and just so you know - that wasn't the middle of the store. That wasn't even near the middle of the store."
"Shocker!" She threw me a fake shocked face her eyes growing wide and her mouth forming an "O" form.
We walked into another store. When I walked in the sweet smell of perfume welcomed me. Stores shouldn't smell like perfume, should they? The smell was enjoyable to my naustrils at first but I was sure after a bit of time I would drown in the smell for good.
