I walked through the house searching for my maths homework, I can't leave it at home, not when I spent all night answering the questions.

I sighed as I saw that I had to go to the bus or I'd be late, I put on my converse and put in my headphones then swung my bag over my shoulder before walking outside.

I closed and locked the door behind me and then ran to the bus, I got there just as the bus pulled in.

"Y/n! I thought you were going to miss the bus" Charlie said as we sat down. "Yeah, couldn't find my maths homework. But god it's getting chilly" I said and wrapped my body in my blazer.

"You can have my scarf" Charlie said and took it off, I grabbed it from his hands and quickly put it around my neck. "Thank you, I'm freezing" I said with my voice muffled be a the scarf was hiding my mouth.

"I think I might steal this from you" I said and smiled innocently at Charlie who laughed.

We arrived at school and got off the bus, cold wind hit us and I felt my fingers getting numb.

Choosing a skirt and just a blazer over my shirt was maybe the wrong move, "Charlie? I think I'm gonna be sick" I said and sniffled.

"Don't get snot all over my scarf!" He said and grabbed it from me, "Hey! That was my only source to keep warm!" I said and tried grabbing it back from Charlie but he put it on instead.

"I'm freezing" I muttered as we walked through the gates. My hands were in my blazer pockets to not make my fingers fully loose feeling.

I heard steps behind me and saw Tao running towards us, I smiled at him and he ran over to me. "Where's your coat? It's autumn, it's cold" he said and pulled me into a hug.

"I borrowed Charlie's scarf before he took it again" I said and Tao wrapped his hands around mine.

He took his jacket off and gave it to me, "You look like you're getting a cold" he said and laid his arm around my shoulders as I got the jacket on.

We walked into the large building and I felt myself beginning to shake, "Tao? Can I keep your jacket on for Maths?" I said and he nodded with a smile.

And that's when I saw him, all the memories from the other night flooded back. I realised I never told anyone except Harry about what happened.

I stopped in my tracks and looked to my left, "I need to powder my nose" I said and smiled up at Tao. He nodded and walked over to the rest of the group.

I quickly walked inside the bathroom and I felt the tears pushing under my eyelids as I closed my eyes.
I opened my bag and took out my phone, I texted Tao.

Sorry, I might be late for maths, please tell Mrs Brown

Sure

I put my phone back into my bag and then looked myself in one of the mirrors.

I hadn't cried but my eyes were red, I blinked to get the tears out and then quickly wiped them off.
I reapplied some of my mascara and then smiled at myself in the mirror.

I took a deep breath then headed out of the bathroom, I was tapping my fingers on my leg as I walked. It was my way to cool off, my way to not have a panic attack.

I walked into class in the middle of Mrs Brown talking about an assignment.

"Ms Y/n, meet me after class" she said and I sighed as I walked over to my seat.
