I flushed the toilet as a few tears fell down my face.

Why is it that I hate myself so much.
Why can't I just be happy.

I had washed all of my makeup off and I walked out of the bathroom.
I walked downstairs and began rummaging through one of the boxes to find my jumper and pajama pants.

"Y/n?" I heard a familiar voice say, I looked up from the box and met eyes with not only Charlie, but also Nick, Elle and Isaac.

"Hi" I said and smiled quickly before walking up the stairs again.

Shit shit shit, why didn't Tao tell me they were here? I look horrible.

I walked into the bathroom again to change out of my schools uniform and into the jumper and pajama pants.

As I walked back out I was met with Tao, I could tell how irritated he was with me just based off of the look on his face.

I might sound ridiculous, but he looked at me with such annoyance in his eyes.
And it made me want to just melt through the floor and into the ground.

I quickly walked past him and then rushed downstairs, "Mrs. Xu?" I said as I walked into the kitchen.

"Yes?" She said and continued to do her crossword.

"I just wanted to let you know that I'm going for a walk, I'll be back in no time" I said and she nodded,
"Alright, just be back before ten" she said with a smile as she looked up at me.

I nodded and then turned to put my shoes on while having the whole groups eyes on me.

"What" I said and glanced at them as I bent down to tie my shoelaces.

"Nothing.. just- why did you run out of school?" Elle asked as I stood up.

"Well, first of all, I wasn't running- second of all, why do you care? It's none of your business" I said and furrowed my eyebrows.

"Okay, just wanted to ask" she said and I sighed as I pushed past them and out through the door.

Why am I so stupid, I just ruin everything.

I had returned from my walk and could feel the smell of food all the way from the front door.
"I'm back" I said as I stepped inside.

"Great! Just in time for food" mrs. Xu said and smiled up at me as I walked into the dining room where Tao and Elle was seated next to each other and Mrs. Xu was taking a seat across from them.

I sat down next to her and then fixed my hair. I looked at the food and it smelled as well as looked amazing.

We ate and talked, I do have to admit it was kinda awkward because I was avoiding the questions asked about me and kinda just poked my food trying to put the attention on everyone else.

"Thank you so much for the food, it was amazing" I said as I stood up and nodded at Mrs. Xu while carrying my rather full plate out and into the kitchen to throw it out.

I heard someone coming into the kitchen and I immediately knew it was Tao just based off of his footsteps.

"Tao, I'm not really in a talkative mood at the moment" I said and turned around as I put my plate in the sink.

"Okay. I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I know you've been going through some stuff lately and I'm worried about you." He said and leaned on the kitchen counter.

I bit my lip and looked down at my hands as I was too afraid to talk.

"And you know you can talk to me whenever" he continued and then walked out of the kitchen.
I followed him with my eyes and then furrowed my eyebrows.
