Jade was sitting in her room reading through 'the art of war' like Dick had told them to. Completely unaware about what was happening to Jason.

The ominous growling from Rachel's room, falling on deaf ears.

She briefly looked up at the rushed footsteps flying past her room but, returned her attention to her task at hand when the person entered Rachel's room

A muffled cry caught her attention, looking up once more she arched a brow and listened closely to the wall behind her headboard which was shared with Rachel's room, the younger girls desk would be directly behind Jade's head.

More footsteps caught her attention, drawing her attention away from Rachel's room. Standing up and cracking her door open, she was curious to what the party was about.

"-to Jason?" Dick's voice said, his back to the hall, turning when he saw Jade peeking out of her room.

"We figured out that Dr. Light was in the tunnels" Gar said, after he had dragged everyone to the Comms room.

Gar was packing back and forth behind Dick who was occupying the only chair. Jade was sitting on one of the desks facing Gar, desperate for an explanation.

He had only said that Dr. Light took Jason and nothing more. Jade felt numb, Jason being missing felt like a big prank, she hoped he would pop out from somewhere and start making fun of her for falling for it.

"Jason wanted to prove to you that he wasn't a reject" Gar said "We were gonna come right back and then Jason wanted to split up. Then I heard him scream-" Jade winced "-and I ran, but they were already gone" Tears were building in Jade's eyes as she realised this wasn't a prank, it was real, Jasons life hung in the balance and she felt helpless.

"Why did you go out there in the first place?" Dick gritted out " On your own, with, no weapons, no backup"

"Sorry" Gar said, however both men knew the apology wasn't meant for Dick.

"I just need details. Specifics. Just write down everything you remember" Dick said, handing Gar a pen.

"I'm searching for his tracker right now" Dick said, immediately returning his gaze to the screen before him.

"Subject offline" The computerized voice said, Jade holding back a sob at the words.

"If Jason's still down there, all that concrete, stone... it would mask the GPS signal from the satellite" Gar said, recalling Jason's revelation earlier that night.

"Yes, it would" Dick said.

Dick soon sent the two teens out telling Gar to send the older Titans in.

Gar and Rachel sat the the breakfast bar, making quiet conversation and sending worried glances to the older girl who sat on the couch. Jade sat perfectly still, huddled in a ball with her chin on her knees. She hadn't spoken since they told her that Jason was missing.

After a few minutes the older generation exited the Comms room, making a B-line to the exit.

Jade immediately intercepted their path.

"I'm going with you" She said firmly, her voice rough from not using it.

"No, you're not. I need you here to watch the kids and Rose" Dick said, brushing her off.

"Dick" She said, her voice cracking "Please"

"He's my best friend. You know I can help" She said.

"... Fine" Dick sighed, knowing Jade could make the search go much faster.
