Once the group arrived at Titans Tower, the air was tense.

The elevator ride back was silent. None of the adults spoke because they didn't know what to do. Jade didn't speak because she knew exactly what to do.

Getting out the elevator the group stopped in surprise at a new presence in the tower.

"Kory?" Dick asked, wondering of all the times to show up, why now?

"What happened to Jason?" She asked, Jade's face fell back into it's angry scowl.

Dick glanced around at all the teenagers in the room before replying "Let's talk in the training room"

Gar's face fell, Rachel frowned and Rose rolled her eye. Jade simply followed the adults.

Before entering the room Dick turned to Jade blocking her entrance.

"Jade, maybe it's best if you-" He started, looking at her with reproachful eyes.

"Don't. Don't make me fight you on this, Dick. Because I will win" She said firmly, pushing past her temporary mentor.

He sighed before accepting defeat.

They stood in silence before Hank broke it "You should have thrown that girl out the minute you knew she was Deathstroke's daughter"

"Wait a minute. Pirate girl is this guy's daughter?" Kory said, she was very confused.

"Yeah, and he wants her back" Hank confirmed, glancing towards the alien.

"Which we can't do" Dick said, he and Donna standing side by side, arms crossed.

"Why not? This is Jason we're talking about, we hardly know her!" Jade countered, standing by Hank.

"Yeah! It's not a crazy idea!" Hank agreed.

"You're not serious?" Dawn asked, looking to Hank.

"I'm serious about ending this with Deathstroke once and for all!" Hank argued "It might not be pretty, but neither is watching Jason get killed by that lunatic"

"This isn't Rose's fault. We all know it. The only reason we're all still alive right now is because she's here" Dawn said firmly.

"Why don't we just find this guy and neutralise him?" Kory asked.

"It's not that easy" Donna scoffed "We barely survived his last attack"

"Look, Jason is hurt, alone, scared. And I... We all know what that feels like" Hank said. Jade looked down remembering most of her teenage life, knowing how that felt everyday.

"The bottom line is, he's one of us and she's not. So handing her over, if it saves his life. I don't know about you, but I can sleep a little better at night knowing I did the right thing!" Hank said, barely choking down his emotions.

"You're good with this, Grayson?" Kory asked, urging him to speak up and defend the girl.

"Dick?" She pressed after he stayed silent.

"Just give me a second" Dick said, falling back into contemplative silence.

"She's just a kid" Dawn said, looking to Hank hoping to reason with him.

"Deathstroke's kid" Donna said.

"Let's be honest, the further away from us she gets, the safer she's gonna be" Donna said, emotion cracking her words slightly.

"If we leave her out there alone, Deathstroke will hunt her down" Dawn said.

"Or worse, we lose leverage over Deathstroke once he finds out she's in the wind"
