"You guys never told me that there was two other kids that went missing" I greeted, placing my food tray down on the table between Vance and Billy.
"What-" cutting Billy off, I snorted loudly. "Don't even think about lying to me." Robin screwed his face up and pointed at me. "Well, isn't that a bit hypocritical for someone like you to say." He accused, the others narrowing and raising their eyebrows at me.
"Huh?" Is he on dru- "you know exactly what I mean." He stuck with his words. Vance butted in, because...well it's Vance. "Did she talk to that....that...SMALL little piece of SHIT!?" Seeing his chest rise up and down, I instantly got annoyed. He's literally like a pit bull.
Having to hold them down with a damn leash, so they don't go attacking random people for no reason.
"I don't know, but she sure as heck didn't go to the library to study" Robin confirmed, now leaning off of the table and just looking at you with a 'I'm not stupid' look. Of course he isn't stupid. It's literally Robin.
Bruce made an appearance as he wasn't here. "What's up my guys, and girls!" He jumped in between me and Vance, slinging an arm around both of our shoulders. He had a bright smile plastered on that adorable face of his. Lightening my mood just a little.
He looked at everyone at the table, quickly reading the room and retreating his arms back to his body. "Did something happened?" He questioned, a slight nervousness present in his voice, from how awkward it was.
"Y/n wants to know about the two that weren't found..." Finn quietly answered, not wanting to make the situation worse than what it was. Silence. It was very silent after that.
"Maybe we should change subjects." Billy inquired, taking a little bite from his green apple. We have something in common. I love green apples.
"Yeah, we'll me and Bruce have a game this weekend." Finn announced, but no one replied. So the boy went back to eating, his head low. These asses. "I'll come Finn" I comforted. He smiled at me.
But that just had to be cut short too, didn't it?
"They were never found. That's what we were told." Bruce abruptly said, the others now having their attention on him. He didn't look at any of us.
This topic was sensitive for him, mostly because he was fond of the two, and you happened to remind him of a mix of them both. Which, was a reason why he was telling you.
"I knew them, for a very long time. One was a male and the other was a female. I forgot their name, what they looked like, what they sounded like, it's all one big blur to me..." He smiled at a slight little memory of them both. The memory not so clear.
"You remind me of them. I don't know why, but you do." You didn't know if it was good or not. It was good, he liked being around you, but not when you're with Griffin.
"The last time I saw them, was when the Grabber took them out of the basement. Never saw them. And till this day I still wonder what happened to them both." Even though his head was down, you could hear the distortion in his voice.
As soon as you wrapped your arms around him, he lunged into your hug, bearing his head into the crook of your neck. "T-they were m-my...o-only f-f-friends!" He sobbed out, his hold tightening around you.
Letting him cry, you and the others sat in silence. The tears he cried felt cold, as if he's never cried before. How long has he held this in? I can't imagine the guilt he must have felt, feeling like it was his fault their not found.
It's not his fault, he couldn't do anything, and even if he could I know he would try to fight the Grabber. Try to save them.

The bell had rung, and everyone left the table except for you and Vance. He stood up and so did you. Before you went to walk away he called out your name.
You looked at him, awaiting for what he wanted to say. "You shouldn't judge us, just because we might do things that aren't kind or to your liking, doesn't mean we aren't nice people,"
You didn't say anything. I didn't judge them, I was just taking precautions. Especially after what Gwen and Griffin have been saying.
"Maybe you should stop being so nosey, and getting into everyone else's business." Did he know what I was doing? He couldn't could he? Or else he'd have my head on a stick.
"Stop listening to that stupid Griffin idiot. He's saying a lot of shit to you, about us. Then you go and have a go at us." He grumbled out, not liking the idea of what's happening.
Not liking his attitude you sarcastically and criticised him. "Well you guys act arrogant, rude, you beat people up-" He stomped over to you, immediately making you pause.
You were scared as shit. His closeness was no joke. "Fuck YOU!" He spat out, eyeing you up. "You don't even know us" Venom and poison laced through his words, sending sharp and cold shivers down your spine.
Without another word he stormed out of the cafeteria, leaving you alone. He was right, I didn't know them and I was already judging them. Just because of two other kids saying stuff.
Maybe I should just relax a bit more. They all probably just hate each other. Yeah, that's it. Nothing more and nothing less.
He was right, I didn't know them...But they knew me...
