"There's no where to hide! Since you pushed my love a sideee!" I sang out in the middle of this empty street, I was walking along. "I'm out of my head, hopelessly devoted to youuu-"
"Nice singing" An all too familiar voice spoke. Whipping around with a yelp and an embarrassed expression. Turning around I saw a smiling Billy on his bike, and a golden retriever sitting next to him.
"Thanks." I plainly stated, a frustrated expression taking form on my face. "But I'd really appreciate it if you weren't sneaking up on me" he started to laugh, in my face.
"I'm just doing my job. I deliver news paper, and you just so happened to be walking down the street, that I am currently working on" He explained in a matter of factually.
Scoffing I scrunched my knows you and said "WELL, news paper boy. Why don't you carry on working, and ignore me" At this point I just wanted to be by myself. There was too many boys in my life.
"Maybe you should go lay down or something. You seem, frustrated and stressed" He suggested. "Oh my god!...way to point out the obvious" I sarcastically congratulated him, my hands smacking together, as I clapped for him.
He wasn't wrong. Maybe I should lay down and sleep it off. "Who made you so mad?" He asked knowing exactly what my answer was gonna be. "YOU GUYS! Now if you don't mind" I said pushing past him "I'm taking up your offer. See you tomorrow paper boy" with that I gave him a salute and walked off.
Peering over my shoulder he was nowhere in sight. He had a cute dog.
~
"Ah! Shit." I cried out. I had just burnt my finger trying to make pancakes. It was only 6:40am so I had lots of time before school started.
"Y/n!!!" Hearing the door close I turn around to see who just walked into MY house. JJ appeared around the corner, his hair messy, and his clothes....decent?
"Good morning. Ever heard of knocking?" He shook his head as he took a seat. "No" giving a cheeky grin, I rolled my eyes and went back to cooking.
"I have a surprise you'll love!" He said excited. Oh gosh. "Mhmm" Jumping up out of his seat, he slung a random ass bag over his shoulder. "Guess whose going to school!"
That's what caught my attention. Spinning around, a grin was present. "I am!!!" I screamed and tan to him, jumping into his arms "FINALLY!!!"
He twirled me around, knowing I was very pleased and happy he'd be there. I mean who wouldn't, JJ was like the best friend you'd ever want.
Placing me back down on my two feet, pointed back to the pan. "Uh please don't force me to eat burnt pancakes" slapping his arm, I jogged back towards the stove. Cooking the rest of the pancakes.
~
"I'm so stuffed." JJ whined, rubbing his stomach as he looked at the upcoming school. "And is that preschool or what?" He judged. Squinting his eyes to try and get a better look.
"JJ this isn't like Outer Banks." He rolled his eyes with a grin. Grabbing me by the arm, he started running, which made me trip a little from the sudden pull.
As we got closer I let out a sharp gasp of air. "Gah! sSlow down!" Hearing me, he stopped completely, causing me to face plant into the back of him.
"Ahh! JJ I'll beat your ass next time you do tha-" "well well well." I knew that voice from anywhere, and it was annoying that I knew.
Standing next to JJ, there in the open stood 3 girls. One being Donna, who looked like she didn't really wanna be here, and the two others from gym class.
"Looks like you've brought an actual friend" That voice belonged to Stacy. I came to know her name from chemistry. The other blondie, was called Lana.
"Who are you three." JJ stepped in, already not liking these girls. "Well handsome. I'm Stacy, this is Lana, and this is Donna." She flirtatiously fluttered her eyelashes. Ew.
We're literally 15, and she wants to bang. "Well Stacy. I suggest you and your little minions, carry on with your day, and leave me and y/n." She stopped smiling and formed a disgusted expression.
"Well?" He asked raising an eyebrow, getting impatient with the girls just standing, and staring. Scoffing they walked away and threw one last glare at you.
"You really know how to make friends y/n" JJ sarcastically taunted, grinning at you. "Whatever. Let's go find the boys" you grabbed his arm this time and dragged him into the school.
~
You've been looking around for about thirty minutes. Not seeing ANY of them in sight.
"So, your friends are where?" You frustratedly paced back around the hall, with him behind you. "They should be here. They always are" you looked into the crowds of people, not seeing any group of 5 boys.
The both of turned around, only to bump into a smiling Griffin. "Oh! Griffin. Have you seen Bruce and stuff?" Griffin laughed at us, not taking this seriously.
"What's so funny?" JJ asked, crossing his arms across his chest. "Why do you think?" Griffin replied, still laughing.
"Look. Have you seen them or not" The laughing suddenly stopped and Griffin now stood with a menacing smile. "Their not here." What? They aren't? All of them?!
"HUH!? Why?" Griffin stayed quiet for a bit, until he opened his mouth. "Because of him" You stood there dumbfounded. Until you seen who he was looking at. JJ.
But how'd they know he's coming? And what's the problem with JJ being here? "How can they know he's coming!? Is this some type of joke?" You accused, now frowning.
"Yeah man, this isn't a good impression way to make friends" JJ butted in, but Griffin only grinned at this.
"Believe. Or don't. I don't really care" and he walked off, AGAIN! JJ looked at me about to say something, but I held a hand up. "Don't" he then turned back to the front and closed his mouth.
Lonely. I was always...alone.
