Chapter 11:School Fair

What the fuck did I just do?

That was all Jihyo thought about, because of the recent days were. 

Sana was ignoring her. But at least Sana had gone to all her classes. Unfortunately as soon as her classes were over she was basically everywhere.

Sana was slowly making a name for herself. In no time she’d be as popular as Nayeon based on her numerous number of flings. The notorious heartbreaker, they labeled her. 

It was almost a week and it was unbelievable at how Sana works her magic around people. They say the devil works hard but Minatozaki Sana works harder. That, Jihyo was certainly sure.

She was now sitting at the table, Sana’s absence was notable as there was no one clinging on Momo's arm at the moment.

Speaking of Momo, it was even odder when Nayeon and Momo wasn’t interacting at all ever since they all went to Tzuyu’s house.

The couple were doing purposely anything at the moment as if trying to avoid talking to each other. Momo was sitting besides Jeongyeon, they were talking about how great Jeongyeon would be if she was her roommate.

“Imagine storing all my stuffed toys with your action figures in one room.” Momo was grinning, she was talking about her collection of stuffed toys to Jeongyeon. "And the mukbang! We should do an eating contest too!" 

Jihyo moved her head to the left, now looking at Nayeon and Tzuyu. Nayeon fully knows how to really annoy Tzuyu. Either she was playfully trying to seduce the maknae or Nayeon would shamelessly compliments herself and demand to make Tzuyu compliment her also. 

“I want to hit her. Can someone please tell me I can hit her?” Tzuyu looking at Chaeyoung for permission who was watching the two clearly amused but stayed silent. 

Then Dahyun tapped Chaeyoung’s shoulder. Jihyo barely heard Dahyun. She only heard a few words like new party trick and new lie detector. The two were just grinning.

Jihyo looking at her friends’ new interactions made Jihyo’s stomach twist. What the hell happened?

Momo informed them yesterday that Sana wasn’t coming to their table. Either she was hanging out with Irene and some other girls or she was with someone at the moment. 

But when Sana was here. Sana was uncharacteristically away from Momo and was constantly associated with Dahyun. Jihyo remembered how impressed Sana was about Dahyun and Chaeyoung's (rare) successful stunts turned out.

Those were the times when Sana was blatantly ignoring Jihyo, it was really the worse. Her guilt was acting up and the awkwardness she felt was unbearable when she hears Sana’s adorable laugh at some joke Dahyun said.

No angry phone calls, no recent absences in class.

It was as if Jihyo was wishing Sana was back to making trouble again. But Sana didn’t, not after what she said that night.

Jihyo didn’t think she means it, she actually didn’t even know where those words came from. She doesn’t think of Sana liked that. Jihyo just spat some harsh words she knew would get into Sana’s head. Wasn’t it what you want, right? Sana leaving you alone?
