everyone's doing fine after Jihyo and Dahyun went to Momo's apartment. The group was back to normal. Even Nayeon and Momo decided to announced that they were a couple. Which no one seemed surprised.
"Guys, I'd like to officially say that Momo's my girlfriend." Nayeon beamed carefully watching Jeongyeon in the process.
"Before or after the school fair?" Jeongyeon eyed them carefully, not letting any emotions be seen for the time being.
Truth be told, Nayeon was actually anxious of what Jeongyeon would say. Especially when she lied countless times where she was when she wasn't in their dorm. "After." Nayeon managed to say. Waiting for any outburst from her or anyone from the group.
Out of all the reactions Nayeon was prepared for, a yell of joy from Jeongyeon wasn't one of it. She even saw Dahyun smirking as she looked at Chaeyoung rolling her eyes. Dahyun looked fine or at least for Momo's eyes.
Jeongyeon held her palm up to Jihyo and said "pay up." Jihyo rolled her eyes as she fished a few dollars from her pocket. While Chaeyoung did the same.
The couple were absolutely clueless. "What's going on?" Nayeon raised her eyebrows looking at her friends handing out money.
Sana just giggled as she poked Jihyo's pouting face. Dahyun grinning at her new paper bills, Chaeyoung sighing as she positioned herself back to her seat. Even Jeongyeon looked more pleased, than pissed at Nayeon for keeping their relationship a secret.
It was Tzuyu who let the couple knew what was going on. She dropped her chopsticks and decided to talk. "Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon decided to make a bet on when you two will realize that you're dating for real."
It left the two speechless. The winners of the bet didn't care to see their reaction because they were still counting their paper bills.
"who's the bottom?" Jeongyeon distractedly said while putting her cash in her pocket.
"Nayeon." Momo said without a second thought. Leaving the group silent for a while.
Jeongyeon said it as a lame joke but no one expected Momo to answer that. Momo surveyed the group. Looking at their friends shocked faces, but what's funny was Chaeyoung's mouth was hanging open and Tzuyu dutifully (as a friend) helped her close it shut.
After a few seconds the group laughed so loud. Especially Jeongyeon, banging her fist to the table. Jeongyeon was laughing too hard at Momo's unexpected answer. Momo hadn't looked at Nayeon, but she was pretty sure she's in trouble.
Jeongyeon handed Chaeyoung 5 bucks. "Here, that five bucks was so worth it." She said as she wiped tears from her eyes because of laughing too much. Jeongyeon especially didn't mind that she lost the last bet. She was too amused to see Nayeon's blush that was accompanied with a death glare towards her face.
"It was a bet." Nayeon grumbled in her seat. Trying to redeem her dignity.
Momo is in big trouble.
"Yes, it sure was." Jeongyeon said mockingly. Still grinning at how the ridiculous turn of events went.
"Shut up Jeongyeon, this is a tops-only conversation." Nayeon grumbled bitterly.
"The hell I am! I am a fucking top." Jeongyeon was about to burst. The girls just laughed at her. Especially her other no-jam bro.
"Sweetie, you may look like one but can't fool anyone here." Jihyo teased, earning another laughing fit.
More bottom jokes came towards the two best friend throughout the conversation.
