The next few days passed smoothly, Jihyo could say that at least. Well, other than an angry phone call she received (from Nayeon), everything went completely fine ever since Sana arrived.
“Jihyo, I swear to god if you don’t pick up Minatozaki here right this instant I’m gonna kill you.” Nayeon threatened.
Apparently, Jihyo’s small information about the cheerleaders’ practice venue caused Sana to come and visit the cheering squad.
Much to Nayeon’s angry tone, she informed Jihyo that the blonde Japanese came to apply for the squad. And everything was messy after that.
Jihyo quicken her strides towards the gym. Hoping she could prevent anything from getting worse. By the time she got there she was just in time to witness the potential chaos.
She could see Nayeon at the corner of the room holding her phone as if she was gonna call Jihyo again, notably annoyed. And Momo sitting at a bench near them, watching the whole dispute calmly while holding a bag of chips in her hands.
Jihyo walked in closer to hear what the girls were talking.
“… I technically am a freshman. Why can’t I apply to your squad?” Sana was annoyingly insisting on letting them accept her in their squad. She was surpirsed that Nayeon left the group to get away from the mess that was currently being caused by her.
Jennie and her girlfriend was already a lot to deal with. I’m sure as hell won’t let another thing (or person) make this mess any worse. Nayeon was kinda glad Jennie was on the same page on this, because when Sana went up, she shamelessly went towards Jennie and demanded to be in the squad. When Nayeon was about to turn Sana down, Jennie was quicker to respond. That was the time Nayeon walked to the corner in order to call Jihyo.
“It’s way too late for you to join. You won’t be able to keep up with the choreography and all.” Jennie’s voice was cool but it oozes with much intimidation that the other girls were silent.
Oooh feisty. I like it.
Sana charmingly walked closer to Jennie now. And decided to lightly brush her hand on Jennie’s shoulder, and giving her the signature look Minatozaki Sana was known for at high school.
“Can a date convince you otherwise?” Sana asked with a very flirtatious tone in her voice.
“I have a girlfriend.” Jennie informed. Sana just shugged at the statement the other girl just said. “Who said you can’t have two?” Sana retorted.
Lisa became visible in the small crowd the two were in. Lisa took Sana’s arm on Jennie’s shoulder, and wrapped her hands on her girlfriend’s waist instead, clearly challenging Sana to make another move.
Okay maybe it's not worth it. Sana thought looking at Lisa.
That was the time Jihyo remembered why she was here in the first place. She pulled Sana’s arm to face her. Jihyo may have been too strong that it resulted to Sana’s face was dangerous near hers.
We’re too close. Jihyo noticed to close proximity of Sana's face to hers.
She just ignored that fact and continued “What do you think you’re doing here?” That's the time Sana processed that it was Jihyo who was in front of her.
