Darren stopped all his movements upon hearing Zhan's confession.

Had he heard the omega's words correctly?

He looked up and when he found his husband's tearful and afflicted face, he confirmed that what he had heard had not been a product of his imagination.

He could feel the sadness and fear that Zhan's body exuded.

He took him in his arms, sitting him on his lap, while a hand caressed his fine hair.
