One day, Hailey was over at Jake's house, where the singers were in his living room, playing some Minecraft. They were both sitting cross-legged next to eachother on the sofa, a controller in each of their hands.
"Wait, how do you eat food again?" Hailey asked her friend and bandmate. She earned a laugh from Jake in response.
"Geez, princess. Usually, you have a great memory, yet when it comes to gaming, you forget everything." Jake said, with a sarcastic eyeroll. Hailey scoffed at him.
"Listen, I'm a musician. Not a gamer. Playing video games is not an everyday thing I do. I'm trying my best here. Now, how do you eat?!" Hailey exclaimed, making Jake snicker a bit.
Jake told her the right controls and soon, they both resumed playing. Jake thought Hailey playing video games was absolutely hilarious as she is always so clueless on what to do. Hailey is not the biggest fan of games, as her main passion and focus is music, but she does try.
-A few minutes later-
The weather outside Jake's home was pretty chilly and the cold air had started to make its way on inside, filling every room with the cool breeze. Hailey shivered a little, rubbing her arms as she felt the small goosebumps on her. Jake immediately took notice of this.
"Are you feeling cold?" He asked, getting a nod from Hailey in reply.
"A bit. I tend to get cold really easily." Hailey was only wearing a white crop top with jean shorts and knee length socks.
Jake thought to himself for a bit before getting an idea. "Wait here. I'll be right back." Hailey raised an eyebrow as she watched Jake rise up from the sofa, walking out of the room. She leaned back into the cushion, still stroking her arms in an attempt to get some heat.
After two minutes, Jake came back into the room and went up to Hailey. "Where did you go?" Hailey questioned him. Suddenly, Jake took out a black hoodie from behind his back, giving her a small grin. Hailey became even more confused.
"Here. Since you're feeling cold, you can wear this hoodie of mine. This one is super comfy and warm. Trust me, you'll feel better." Jake offered, handing the hoodie to her, placing it in her grasp. Hailey looked down at it and then back up at Jake.
"Oh no, Jake. I can't. It's your hoodie. You don't have to give me this." Hailey replied, slightly blushing. Jake shook his head in disagreement.
"Princess, it's okay. I insist. You won't feel cold anymore. Please, wear it."
Jake pleaded with his little puppy eyes that Hailey blushed immensely at. She glanced over to her side, biting the inside of her mouth."F-Fine.." With that, Hailey sat up from the cushions, with the hoodie in her palms. Jake watched her with a smile as Hailey left the room to change into it. He then sat back down onto the sofa and waited.
Time passed by and Jake had continued his game, waiting for Hailey in the process. He took a sip of his bubble tea that him and Hailey had bought earlier. All of a sudden, Hailey called out to him.
"Jake, I'm ready!" Hailey exclaimed, getting Jake's attention as he paused the game.
"Oh, okay! Come in then." Hearing the response, Hailey slowly opened the living room door and trailed herself inside.
Jake could feel his heart stop beating. His face was heated with blush. He couldn't take his eyes off her. He stared at Hailey as she walked over to him, standing in front of him.
Jake didn't think Hailey would look this good in his hoodie. The hoodie was oversized for her so you couldn't see her hands. Her shorts were covered by the clothing as well, so you could only see her thighs, her knee length socks covering the rest.
"Does it look alright?" Hailey asked, wondering why Jake was so silent. Hearing the question, Jake placed his arm behind his neck.
"U-U-Um, yeah! You look..You look.." Jake responded, unable to get the words out. Hailey started to feel insecure.
"Does it look bad?" She asked, making Jake shocked.
"No no no! It's the opposite! You look amazing, princess.."
Hailey blushed a bit at the compliment. "Thanks Jake." She looked down at herself, rubbing her arms, feeling the sweet relief of the warmth the hoodie produced for her, unaware that Jake was still staring at her in awe.
"You know, you were right Jake. This hoodie is really warm, and it smells so nice-" Hailey cut herself off and made eye-contact with him, seeing that Jake didn't seem to be paying any attention to her.
"Um, Jake? Are you okay? Are you even listening?-"
"You being in my hoodie makes me really wanna kiss you."
Jake said abruptly, making himself and Hailey blush intensely. Jake covered his mouth upon realising what he had just said. "I-I'm so sorry! Forget I said that-"
"So then, why don't you?"
Jake's eyes widened at Hailey's sudden response. He wasn't expecting that. Hailey was surprised too at her own statement. She had no idea where that surge of confidence came from.
A few awkward seconds passed by before Jake sat himself up from the sofa, walking over towards the girl. Hailey could feel her heartbeat become faster as Jake brought his body closer to hers. He had a charming smile plastered on his face as he hooked her chin. The scent of his pleasant breath became noticeable to Hailey, making her want him even more.
Jake set his sights onto Hailey's luscious lips. They looked so soft, so pink. It's like they were asking him to be kissed. Jake desperately wanted to taste them. He cupped both of Hailey's hot cheeks shyly, gazing into her eyes.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked, earning an eagar nod from Hailey. Jake smiled at the answer, his heart thumping non-stop. Hailey beamed at him and raised an eyebrow.
"Go on, you little dork.." She said with a laugh, her palms on his chest.
Slowly, Jake leaned in and pressed his lips softly against Hailey's, one hand wrapping around her waist. Hailey closed her eyes, returning the kiss. She held onto his shoulders, bringing him even closer.
Their hearts were beating in delight as they kissed. Jake loved it. Hailey's lips tasted amazing, just like he thought it would. It wasn't long before his tongue soon met with hers, swirling around with eachother as the kiss turned into a make-out.
Jake grabbed onto Hailey's waist with both his palms and lifted her up into his grasp, still kissing her. Hailey's legs wrapped around his hips as he held her. Jake's arms were around Hailey's back as Hailey cupped his cheeks.
The teens soon lost control of their balance as they both fell back onto the sofa, Hailey being on top of Jake. They broke the kiss due to this and looked at eachother in embarrassment. Jake chuckled shyly at her as Hailey did the same.
"God, that was...incredible.." Jake said, going into a little trance as Hailey giggled seeing the goofy grin on his face. Jake soon snapped out of his daydream and stroked her hair. "You should keep this hoodie. It really suits you.." He said, making Hailey laugh in shyness.
"Oh, Jake. I can't do that. It's still your hoodie."
Jake shook his head with a smile. "Nope. It's yours. You look so good in it, to the point where I ended up making out with you.." Jake replied, his cheeks becoming a dark pink. Hailey rolled her eyes with a smile.
"Wanna continue the game?" She asked him.
"Sure!" Jake exclaimed with an enthusiastic grin, kissing her cheek lovingly afterwards.
-End-
