🥂The Nightclub🥂 (Pt. 1)

"Ooh..! This is gonna be such a fun night! Don't you agree, Hails?!"

Hailey hesitated for a moment as she watched the pink-haired devil jump up and down excitedly in her place. Her fiery, red eyes sparkled as they locked with Hailey's deep, charcoal-coloured ones.

"Um, Milly? Are you sure this is a good idea..?" Hailey mumbled, fidgeting with her fingers.

"Duh! Of course it is! I heard from people around our area that this nightclub is off the hook, girl! We have to go! Please...!" Milly pleaded, holding onto Hailey's palms. She even attempted showing off her puppy eyes, which she hoped Hailey would succumb to.

"I've..never been to a nightclub before though. You know I'm not the biggest fan of these sort of things. How about we just stay here, and watch a movie together or something?"

Hailey bashfully grinned, only to see Milly pout at the suggestion. "Oh, c'mon Hails! You're my best friend, and this is our girl's night! We can always watch a movie another day. Let's do this instead! It'll be more fun! Anyways, we're grown adults! Let's live it while we can!"

Hailey bit her lip, thinking hard to herself. Milly is her bestest friend, and she has done a lot for her. She seems completely ecstatic about this as well, and Hailey loves to see her friends and family happy. Hailey considered the fact that maybe she should do this one thing for Milly, even if she really doesn't want to do it.

With a slow sigh, Hailey looked up towards her friend, and softly smiled. "Okay then, let's go to this nightclub.."

"Attagirl!!" Milly exclaimed happily, pulling Hailey into a tight hug. "I promise, you and I will have a blast tonight there! Who knows..? Maybe you'll find someone if you know what I mean.."

Hearing that, Hailey broke away from the hug, and instantly shook her head in disagreement. "No thank you. No boys for me.."

Milly frowned, a bit disappointed. "Oh come on, Hails! You're 22! Don't you want a boyfriend? You've been single long enough.."

Hailey laughed, shaking her head. "Nope! I'm just fine being, and staying single! I don't need a boyfriend. Besides, do you know how much drama a relationship holds? I've seen it everywhere. I don't need that in my life.."

Milly sighed in defeat. "Alright, alright! You win...I'm not gonna force you, girl. If you don't want one, that's fine. Let's just go to the club and have fun hanging with eachother!"

"Well, it does sound exciting the more you talk about it. So, sure! Let's go then. Just, make sure Zander doesn't figure out about this. You know how he is like.." Hailey murmured, rolling her eyes slightly.

"Yes, yes. I know. Extremely overprotective..We all know his nature at this point, and you're right. If Zander figures out about this, he will most certainly not let both of us go. He'll cancel this entire thing! So, don't worry. I'll be quiet.."

After saying all that, Milly became hyper again. "So, should we go and get ready?!"

Hailey nodded her head in glee. "Yep!"

9:00 p.m

"Right, so this is the place!" Milly pointed at the club before them with her finger. Hailey stared at it up and down, intrigued. This was her first time at a nightclub. She had never gone to one before, simply because she wasn't interested. But, she was doing this for Milly. Hailey could hear the blaring disco music and immense chatter amongst a lot of people. It was clear that the club was packed tonight. Hailey wasn't sure if that was good or bad. What if Milly was right about her previous points earlier? What if she meets a guy? What if he becomes her true love and soulmate for the rest of her life? Nonetheless, Hailey brushed those thoughts away.
