"Sonic, stop!" Amy shouts from her lungs, but in vain. Both Scourge and Sonic are dancing in the air trying to knock each other down with their gifted super speed.
Amy knows she has to do something, very quick. Her hammer is already in her hand, but there is nothing she can do with it. Maybe just wait for the boys to calm down.
But how could they calm down? They have so many accounts to solve by themselves...
"Fucking bastard! I told you to leave us alone!" Scourge shouts, revealing his sharp teeth. He groans. Sonic is mad in this moment, but something makes him look at Amy for a second. What if she doesn't want this? he thinks to himself.
Sonic gives up on the fight, leaving Scourge very confused but delighted by his cowardice. Sonic doesn't care anymore, he just goes to Amy and she backs up when he tries to hug her.
"What the hell, you two!" Amy yells. "Why do you think fighting can solve things?" she wipes her tears. "A-Amy..." Sonic reaches an arm to her but she is untouchable.
The two boys glare at each other for a moment. Sonic notices how heartbroken Scourge is in this moment, he has his hands on his chest and seems to almost crash down. He knows what losing love feels like... especially from this pink hedgehog that they both adore as much.
The blue hedgehog sighs and decides to open his mouth: "Amy, did he make you happy?" he asks embarrassed. Amy turns back with her eyes wide open "W-What?" she brings the hammer closer to her chest.
"Did he make you happy that day?" Sonic of course knew about their date, not only because Amy mentioned something about someone special, but he followed them that very night.
Amy throws a glance at Scourge, seeing him very vulnerable. "Yes, he did." she speaks. Sonic nods. "Okay then, I shall let you two talk this out." He walks to an exit but turns his head around to Amy one more time and says "Amy, if you need me you will know where to find me." He sadly raises his signature thumb and runs outside the castle.
Amelia tries to reach a hand to Sonic, but she knows it's in vain. She turns to Scourge and looks into his teal sad eyes. Her hammer disappears so she can tightly hug him. Scourge is drunken by her authentic scent that he loves and has missed for some time.
He hugs her firmly. "A-Amy..." he whispers. Amy is feeling numb. Is this really what she was expecting to feel once she saw him again? She never thought of it she just wanted to see him again, but at what cost?
She breaks the hug and grabs his face in her palms. "Why did you leave, Scourge? Why did you have to give me the most amazing night of my life and then move on with your secret life as nothing had happened?" She sighs and continues "I know we were never meant to mean something, I always hated the way you made me feel, but I have to admit that you were amazing on that Halloween night." she groans.
"But what did I expect, huh?" a little watery tear is being wiped by her thumb while Scourge's heart breaks. "Did I expect to have a normal relationship with the most well known rascal in Mobius? I don't even know what I was thinking, but oh... I know what I want right now."
Scourge's eyes widen. "What do you want, Rosy?" she takes a moment before answering, delicately admiring the destroyed attic of the castle: the rain pours into a big hole that gives more light into the chamber.
She speaks: "I know you have something to do with the disappearing of my friends." The green hedgehog is taken by surprise, he moves from his place and follows after her "How did you know?"
She smirks sadly "I found some of your green quills inside Tails's workshop when we were looking for clues, just like how I found Blaze's necklace at work." she shows him the necklace and he is flabbergasted.
