I have got bored of this island. There is nothing but dinosaurs who get scared when they see me and also screaming ladies, aka Blaze and Rouge. And sometimes even Knuckles, but he doesn't want to admit it.

Pff, I have started praying to God to get out of here. I don't think Sonic is that smart to find the file Tails managed to send back to Earth, but "hope" is our only way out of here.

We have gotten adapted to this lifestyle, everybody knows when to stay out of the T-rex's sight, when we can go gather food, when we can drink water... all these basic things.

I am glad Tails is here, even if he is still adapting to this earthling technology, he is still keeping his cool. I know he is scared, I am too. Everybody is scared now.

I just want to break Eggman's chin with my fists. I know he is not responsible this time, but I still want him and his robots to disappear and leave us the heck alone.

I sigh in private and raise my head from the ground only to see Rouge waving at me. I wave back shyly and put my head back into the ground.

I know they care about my wellbeing. I just don't want to talk about feelings and waste my time, someone dear is waiting for me at home. I know she is missing me everyday.

I feel a shoulder tap and realize it's Rouge without looking up. "What is it now?" I ask. She is sometimes really annoying. "Come on, big guy, don't be so rude to me. I just want to help you feel better." I raise my head and she smiles at me.

"Why do you think I am not alright? I am perfectly fine, tch." I add. "Shadow... don't be like this, we all know you want to make everyone happy and find a way home, but what about you?" she asks with a tender voice.

I guess she is right... and I hate that she's right. "Uggh, okay. I accept your offer, how are you going to make me feel better?" I get up and look down to her. She smirks and takes my hand.

"Why are we here?" I whisper to her while watching the dinosaurs taking breakfast by the river. They look gracious... I am surprised actually. 

Maria would have liked it here, but I am glad she is it not here. At least I have peace with this. I could never forgive myself if I put her in this danger. "Stop thinking and enjoy this beautiful view!" she put accent on "beautiful". Her accent is mesmerizing.

I put a hand under my chin and lean forward. Very careful so I don't bother the dinosaurs. It's quite odd that Rouge brought me here, but I have to admit that it is indeed peaceful.

Maybe now as I am relaxing I can think of a new way home. Once and for all. Rouge indicates that I should breath deeply, just like her. And I do as she says. 

There is nothing left in this moment but the feeling of truly living and forgetting all these worries. Maria appears into my mind. I miss her too much... I just want to hold her tighter when I get back so please, Sonic... hurry.

I sigh as I exhale.

Amy

"Do you really think he can fix the X-tornado?" I whisper to Sonic's ear while pointing at Mark the taper trying to fix the old plane.

"It's worth giving a shot, I guess." he whispers back. I love his presence everyday. He is trying his best to win my trust again. I love seeing him trying because I have already forgiven him, but I am a hard prize to win. And he should act accordingly.

Anyway, we are here today to fix the X-Tornado and fly over the island to locate the Master Emerald. It might not be a chaos emerald, but it still works perfectly fine. We have to try everything. 

"I can't wait to see Blaze again!" I tell him snuggling my head on his shoulder. I really miss her, everybody actually. I have to fight for the moment I'll see them again. I wonder if I will ever see Scourge again.

"Done!" Stewart shouts as dropping the screwdriver on the floor. He looks so proud of himself, so I applaud him and Sonic follows me. "Good job, Mark!" 

My head is left with no support as Sonic quickly gets into the X-Tornado.  There is no wonder that the fastest thing alive can't wait...

"Amy, hop on!" he roars. I summon my hammer and quickly get into the back. I didn't know Sonic was a pilot, a good one I might add. I wave at Mark and we leave Tails's workshop place.

We head to the Angel Island, where now some evil and muddy chaos are conquering. This is the effect of Eggman's plans. He poisoned the river where the chaos were living peacefully and now they are evil creatures that could kill anybody.

"We have to be very careful, Sonic! Eggman has given them very villainous powers that can knock us down anytime!" I shout at him with all the wind blowing.

"I know! But we will hurry and no chao will be able to come to us! They can't fly that high." he shouts back.

I watch the contaminated island as we are heading to the place Knuckles felt the safest. He had no other choice tho, but he enjoyed being the guardian of the Master Emerald, I bet he is looking forward to being back here.

A shining big green gem catches my attention. But my attention is also caught by the red and black evil chaos that are chasing after us. I tap on Sonic's shoulder very desperately and make him see that we are being chased at.

He is panicking and turning left and right as one chao has reached the X-tornado and bites the steel off it. What the hell? I didn't think Eggman was capable of creating steel eating monsters. But here we are...

I immediately throw him out with my hammer and they stay out of sight. For now. "Go faster!!!! We need to hurry. If we don't, they will eat us alive!" I basically yell at Sonic and put him under pressure.

He is so stressed over the situation right now that he uses his inner power to bring the X-Tornado to its full potential, that's why I have to hold tight to the sit so I don't fall because we are landing TOO fast now.

Sonic is furious now, the power has gotten over him. This is the reason why he doesn't transfer his power to other electric gadgets, especially one as big as the X-Tornado.

I try to calm him down as he pushes the button and a trap is released to grab the Emerald safely. I look around for chaos and they are nowhere to be seen. I also see that we are in a giant blue field that doesn't allow anything to come to us.

"Sonic! You have to calm down!!!!!! Or you will drain the plane of energy, and we will have to stay here for a long time! Heck, you don't want to swim back to Mobian Island!" I tell him with a tender but yelling voice.

I hug him tightly so I can calm him down better. "You have done your best Sonic, our friends will be back soon because of us. Because of you and your incredible power." I wish I was strong enough to tell him I love him in this moment, because he needs it. 

But we are already out of the island and carrying the Emerald with us as I break the hug with him. He really is amazing...

We don't dare to say a word to each other until we get home. My hammer also disappeared.

Sonic

I can't stop blaming myself for not taking control over my body and making Amy worried because of my dumbness.

As I am sitting on Tail's pink couch I am assisting to an image of Amy and Mark trying to figure out how to activate the big gem.

I sigh as I palm myself for a couple of times. I am still stupid for what happened earlier, and still for not helping them now. But what can I do? I think I can say chaos control but it's not the same like a single chaos emerald.

I just look at Amy and acknowledge her kindness and beauty. She has always been such a soft girl who always wanted to help her beloved ones, especially the ones who didn't want her... love...

I eventually fall asleep on the couch.
