Better an oops than what if.
Lilianne's POV
"So you met Chaz?" Lucy asked while taking books out of the locker.
"Yes. Of all of them, I liked him the most. What do you have now?" I asked
"Geometry. You?"
"Spanish." I smiled
"Lucky you, you know all the answers" She sighed.
Where is room 45B? I wandered through the corridor looking for a classroom. After a while, I found the door I wanted. Great, no more seats.
I scanned the class thoroughly and saw a spot next to a boy in the back. I think his name was Tyler.
"Can I sit here?" I asked nicely.
Tyler looked at me from over his books and smiled
"Of course, you can"
"Lilianne, but call me Lil"- I smiled
"Tyler"
The lesson was boring. I'm not surprised that almost everyone was asleep. If I didn't know Spanish, I certainly wouldn't have learned it in this lesson.
"Lilianne, wait!"
I slowly turned at Tyler's voice
"Yes?" I asked
"Do you want to go out after school? I can use some help with Spanish" he asked nervously
"Of course. Wait for me in the school parking lot." I smiled
I decided to text Jason. I didn't know what to think about "see you tomorrow". I didn't want him waiting for me.
To: Jason
Hey! I don't know what to think about your "see you tomorrow", but I already have plans so don't wait for me after school.
From: Jason
I didn't even plan to.
Ou. It hurt. I sounded pathetic. He probably forgot about what he said yesterday. 6 more hours. Lil, you can do it.
Jason's POV
It was a hard night for me. I stayed awake, because of another mission. I walked into my office angry with the world.
"Where's my fucking coffee? And cigarettes?" I exclaimed.
I tried to focus on my work and assign more gang members to the mission. My thoughts returned to Lilianne for a moment. I can't wait to pick her up today. Spending time with her after school is slowly becoming my favorite thing to do during the day when I don't have to think about my job.
Speak of the devil...
